When all else fails there is Omen-Crafting

Definitely feels like it was designed to combat bad RNG.

oh, i have decent pants - max champ - decent for what I’m doing. but i just dig the recolor mog set! Hero would be cool, in lieu of all these dumb hero trinkets, but, champ mog is boss, too!

Yup … I have had this experience too. And for me, it’s not just delve rewards, but rewards from all content.

I remember the first weekly reset with vault rewards, I got a chest piece 4 times … One from vault, 2 from weekly event caches, and 1 from end of dungeon run.

A couple of weeks later, it was the trinkets. I got 3 of those crit candle trinkets, 1 from vault and 2 from end-of-delve cache.

I know RNG is RNG, but I’m 100% there is either a bug in their RNG algorithm … OR, they have deliberately programmed rewards to drop in the same slot to slow down gear progression. I’d like to think it’s not the latter, but there are just SOOOO many reports of players getting multiple drops of the same exact gear (or in the same slot) to not question it.

Obviously I can’t know for certain, but it seems crazy for loot drops to actually be random. Why would they do that? If it were truly random, out of millions of people, there would definitely be some players getting literally 10 of the same trinket in a row. You’d think they would want some control… some knobs to turn.

If you’re really getting the same drop over and over, maybe try mixing things up a bit. For example, change what gear you have in your bags, run the delve at a different time of day, switch brann’s abilities, or stop vendoring those trinkets that you don’t want and just hang onto them.

I know, it sounds a little crazy, but what do you have to lose (assuming you’re gonna run the delve again anyway)?

This is the result of the “personal loot” you guys keep asking for, a continuous flow of the trash you do not need.

A member of the Community Council needs to make a post about it over there and push the issue. Right now, in GD this does not even get a second look, because it is just “complaining.”

But from what I see over in the CC area, it pretty much is a ghost town, with nothing recently added worth mentioning.

No, it is the result of all the items being in a pool and since back and trinket items VASTLY out number the other slots, the chances are much greater to get a useless trinket or back.

A better random way would be first to pick a random slot (trinkets and rings each only get one slot count), then a random item from that slot.

This is a very true story. Today I received on three different delves two cloaks the very same and a trinket I already had…three times previously. :frowning: I would think they should make more keys available and make all Delves Bountiful past level 8 aside for fixing the gear challenges of constant repeats.

Is “You guys” some club that I’m not aware of?

trinkets ptsd
im done doing delves lol

Only to be on the nerf list, an unposted change, Tuesday and the candles fight each other. This way it still shows them doing damage but not your target.

its pretty randomized for me, the first week i was getting cloaks rings and trinkets. now its a mix of everything regularly.

im hoping for gloves on my monk so i can catalyst all the heroic set over the rest of the season

Saw this coming when I saw the sheer amount of trinkets in the Delve pool.

I feel like Blizzard is trying to hook people up with trinkets, but it’s like… It reminds me of the old street dealer who thinks he’s hooking you up, but the grass tastes like hay and has seeds in it. He just wants you to feel placated without any real cost.

In other words, there’s no danger in them putting 99 trinkets in the Delve pool as long as they’re all garbage.

But they’re not all garbage…not BiS but certainly not garbage.

Check out bloodmallet and you’ll see.

It’s not RNG, you got a low trinket slot and the game is attempting to boost it. Help them help you!

Incorrect…
