what pisses me off is that if i were to do a 10 key, i wouln get any loot but if a delve player did idk an 8 delve or a 10 they’ll always get gear. how is that fair?
The maps only drop from the Bountiful Heavy Trunks at the end of bountiful delves. If you ran all 28 bountiful delves in a week, you might get 2-4 maps. That is hardly infinite.
Zekvir attacks aren’t guaranteed nor are the maps guaranteed from the claws. Claiming that a rare drop from a rare spawn is equivalent to a 20-40% drop rate from an m+ dungeon is too ridiculous for you to actually believe, so I can only conclude that you are being intentionally deceptive.

That is genuinely not true.
I’ve pulled about 50 raw gilded crests from maps and I don’t even run delves hardcore. Getting the 540 gilded you need to hit 626 is definitely doable on delves alone, especially when you consider you’ll reliably get 15 a week from conversions once you’re in full 619.
I get the impression that people think a delver that is trying to max out on the content pillar is running like 4 bountiful delves a week and then throwing up their hands. You get 9-10~ guaranteed keys a week so bare minimum the expectation has to be that delvers trying to cap out are doing at least that many. Serious delvers are probably doing several multiples of that.
Yeah you can really tell when people have never entered a delve outside bountifuls when they think the best rewards from delves can only come from bountifuls.
I’d argue that delves being “too rewarding” isn’t a problem at all. In the cases that it is a problem, it’s an entirely personal one.

By all means then, start a fresh 80 and farm nothing but delves. Then come back and let us know when you cap out. I’m interested to see how long it takes.

You’d get a guaranteed mythic track piece in the vault.
On average it should take about 3600 T8+ delves to cap out if you’re not counting crest conversions. Having done around 200 I’m right on track for that.
Assuming a season length of 175~ days that’s 20 delves every single day for the entire season, which would probably be 5~ hours a day of doing delves.
Realistically, crest conversions means you’d go much faster though.

No one doing m+ complains about delves lol. I did delves for 2 weeks, after that there was no point. I liked the delves, they are decant solo/group content.

A literal tier below.
Delves drop way easier loot of equivalent value to +7s. It leads to people expecting you to run delves to get high gear before going into M+/raids in pugs, and essentially here, is extremely out of parity for challenge to rewards.
