If Delves are too rewarding for M+ players how do they think raiders feel about M+
The part you repeatedly keep leaving out whenever your chime in with this copy/paste comment of yours in these threads is: “from the vault”.
So that other people don’t get misled by your comments, here is the truth on the matter:
- Delves do NOT award heroic track gear. They award champion track gear. And only when bountiful.
- The only time a delve will award heroic track gear is if you have a map, who’s drop rate is so low that it isn’t even worth mentioning.
- T8’s are equivalent to a +7 in terms of vault rewards. However T8’s reward champion track 600? gear of 2/8? ( I don’t remember specifically). Conversely, +7’s award 610 (1/6) hero track gear. They then award 616 (3/6) hero track gear in the vault in addition to their 2 heroic track pieces from the chest (not per person obviously) at the end of a timed run.
I urge people to actually educate themselves about the facts of this topic before making such misleading comments:
No. 8s drop hero gear.
And that they are braindead easy to the point fresh 80s are clearing them.
It’s literally implied.
Nothing I said is misleading.
It wasn’t.
It was.
It was. Anyone with a clue knows I wasn’t saying delves drop heroic track.
Maybe for the typical clueless solo player.
You literally said:
With zero further context. You said nothing about the vault. You repeatedly attempt to mislead people into believing that a regular T8 drops heroic track gear. I wouldn’t be surprised to see you next week in GD claiming that a non-bountiful delve also rewards hero track gear too. SMH.
And that’s the part where you admit you’ve basically been trolling whenever this topic has come up. Time to put you on ignore with the rest of the trolls and I urge everyone else to do the same. At least, if someone does not want to be repeatedly misled and basically lied to. Bye
I will enjoy my heroic track gear from the vault from T8’s all the more now that I know it chagrins you so.
Delve gearing is at a glacial pace. M+ is ridiculously fast in comparison. The only reason M+ pug players are complaining is because Delves gave people a head start at the beginning, however, M+ is still the best gearing path in the game by far.
Unfortunatly, I don’t think blizzard will address the actual problem with rewards tuning this season, which is that everyone is just railroaded into M+ whether they want to be there or not.
It is because so many of you kept saying that you couldn’t get into keys and wanted an alternative. Now you got it and are still complaining.
no fun allowed for solo players
The gear from delves is disproportionate to their difficulty atm. If they changed the maps to drop from 9s - 11s, with the % chance of them dropping increasing each difficulty, it’d probably feel more appropriate.
Champion gear dropping from delves at the current difficulties is fine with me. Maybe allow more or higher tier crests to drop above 8s as well to incentivize players to push those difficulties.
Enjoyable content can be enjoyable content with absolutely zero rewards.
Blizzard has gotten the cadence and magnitude of “reward” down to a science. This has been an integral part of their success since day one. So while you’re technically right that is possible to create good content with no rewards… it just ain’t gonna happen.

I see people saying stuff like this while completely ignoring the vast range of difficulties that delves provide based on class, spec, role, group size, Brann level, curio upgrades, etc.
It’s also important to consider that if you’re only doing delves, they go up to T11, and there should be some method of approaching the gear level required to beat them. No you don’t need enough gear to make them easy, but if you can’t get 603 gear with a smattering of 610 and 616 (and you’re not a tank), T11s will be nearly impossible.

I made that statement that most people were intelligent enough to realize I’m talking about vault.
I’ll clarify next time so solo players can be on the same page.

Always funny when people can’t refute the original point they nitpick something that’s irrelevant and then block you because “you’re the troll”.
Super cringe.
it just ain’t gonna happen.
It wasnt a suggestion to remove rewards. I was just drawing a very distinct line between content and rewards from content
They are in equivalent difficulty to m+ 4/5 that do drop hero at vault. I really don’t see any reasons to lower delves rewards
Let’s be real, this is blizzard after all.
They aren’t going to nerf delves, just nerf M+ until it’s back to DF S3 levels of hilariously too easy.
Of course not. I do think they should buff them though just to not make it so braindead.
They are in equivalent difficulty to m+ 4/5
lol no they aren’t.
ust drop reward tracks in delves for an easier on ramp to mythic dungeons.
Veteran gear from bountiful chests, champion from maps and vault.
This would keep mythic dungeons relevant.
If needed change delve difficulty accordingly.
All that would do is destroy delves. Right now the gear cap for delves is Champ 8/Hero 4 and it takes several weeks to a couple months to get there. If the cap was reduced to Veteran 8/Champ 4, people would get there in a couple weeks then unsub, just like they did before delves existed. Blizzard is unlikely to sacrifice the solo/casual portion of the player base just to make low keys less of a mess.
The problem here isn’t a reward disparity, it’s a convenience disparity. The group making process for m+ is hated by many and delves avoid that entirely. Even if delves were objectively more difficult than equally rewarding m+, people would still choose delves to avoid the group finder.
