Delves being “too rewarding” is not a problem created by delve players

It’s speculated that they were dropping more than intended early on.

I got several just while tiering up my delves but they were pretty useless since I got them in delves as low as tier 3.

And yet you probably still do delves, even though they’re not difficult enough for you. * shrug *. People usually gravitate toward the path of least resistance. And not having to deal with elitists like you in M+ is perfect for me.

Delves are over-rewarding. They are the issue, not other gear tracks. How you think Delves being over-rewarding is impossible because other activities aren’t poorly balanced like delves are is beyond me. Consider literacy.

and they wonder why their participation has been decreasing … its their attitude

if M+ truly was such a joy delves would not be a thing because everyone would be enjoying M+ no?

Because if you’re capable of ignoring them after a set period, then they aren’t over-rewarding lol

The elephant in the room with “Delves are over rewarding compared to M+” is heroic raids.

Again, it is not hard to get hero track in WoW even if it didn’t come from delve vaults.

Said unironically while M+ exists.

people said week one they are done with delves and heading into normal-heroic

so they arent over rewarding.

kiyoka just doesnt want them to be rewarding AT ALL

They’re over-rewarding currently. They still reward hero track while being on-par with heroic dungeons.

so dont do them if you think they are over rewarding

i see that secret dredgers breastplate ilvl 616

you’re a part of your problem

No one is asking for the delve gear track to be removed, lol.

It’s impressive how you people surround yourself with complete fiction and then interact with it.

If how other people have fun (which according to you is exclusively by being excessively rewarded) is hurting the game, then it matters. The issue is not their fun, though, and I think it’s kind of insulting to insinuate that the average delve player is so monumentally stupid and emotionally stunted that they wouldn’t be able to have fun if their gearing track started at a lower ilvl and were paced better. I would bet that for the majority of delve players that would be an improvement compared to jumping to the literal maximum reward track day 1 and have 80% of the non-prestige tiers essentially not exist.

Not how that works. In group content you don’t get to choose to turn your nose up at a free 20 ilvl boost and still expect invites. Delve players can ignore M+ and raiding, but the same is not true in reverse.

i mean there is fact in fiction

No, the issue is that people who do “hard content” feel depreciated in their accomplishment and progression because the “easier content” rewards the same.

They demand “gear should match difficulty” because otherwise they feel like idiots by doing a harder content and putting effort into something while others do “minimun effort” and match their level of progression.

The only outlier currently being that M+ does not reward equal to its difficulty compared to BOTH raids and delves.

That’s not true either, but if that’s what makes you feel better.

Which is why M+ rewards and difficulty needs to be tended.

This key squish was criminal to M+.

yeah people lost their key bracket

Yea, no Mythic tracked gear dropping in their Vaults would be a nice start.

And that is what it comes down to. Folks are mad the demand for lower key carries dried up. I’d say they should just git gudder and do 10+ carries but that would be terribly acerbic of me.

I think what you mean to say is that “cutting edge raiders and title pushers cannot ignore anything that aids in progression in any way.”

But that still isn’t

  1. A delve problem.
  2. A problem for many people at all.
  3. A reason to never add things that aid in progression.
