I’m fine with difficult content existing, but it needs to stay in its own lane.
I don’t understand why this game needs to pointlessly become more difficult at even base levels of gameplay.
Classic is objectively not difficult, yet it remains widely popular.
No. I’ve said numerous times now I want the solution to be fixing the M+ onboarding process that was thrown for a loop with the DF S4 squish. If low keys with similar difficulty as delves were giving out similar rewards in similar amounts of time, that would fix the problem as far as I’m concerned. Players could still choose to get gear from delves if they wanted, but it wouldn’t feel like you’re unnecessarily gimping yourself to choose the low key route like it does today. Delves are so much easier, drop a guaranteed item (if you have a coffer key), and are 2-3x faster to complete in the first place; it’s really a no brainer for someone whose goal is to get the gear they will use to push higher in M+. When in reality, low keys in M+ shouldn’t feel so bad in comparison.
But they weren’t though, because you got 1 tier piece from getting AOTC and 1 free catalyst charge when the season started. All you needed for 4pc was 2 pieces from raid.
The first few weeks we cleared normal and heroic, and I think everyone on the roster had 4pc by week 2. Nobody was taking hero track tier from their vaults over a myth track piece that you could catalyst in 2 weeks anyways.
About delves being easier. They’re always going to be easier. It is what it is. I don’t have an issue with them tuning them up a bit at all, but maybe more importantly don’t nerf them. part of the reason I think they’re easier is because the tuning was always messed up. Brann’s tuning sucked, some of the delve’s were all messed up, and I think eventually they just threw up their hands and nerfed them to be easier.
That’s really a trivial thing. Less work? I actually don’t even agree with that at all. All they have to do is buff drop rates of M+. Both are equally as much work, and honestly that’s a bad reasoning for not balancing things the best way anyway.
There were a number of bugs in the first few weeks. Depending on your class/spec, things may have been harder (much harder if you were playing a healer with a DPS brann).
It’s not hard for them to make lower mythics have more incentive to gear up for mythic players than delves. That isn’t difficult at all, and it’s going to have to be a compromise anyway. We can’t live in a game world where everything has to accommodate because M+ players can’t control themselves doing other content. It’s not going to be perfect ever.
Have you been following this thread at all? This is not the issue lol and going this route would throw everything off-kilter and cause a lot more issue taking a lot more time of fixing everything.
Doesn’t have to be perfect. Just has to be better.
I have a day job so I can’t just post here all day and night, but I’ve seen this discussed in other threads, and I agree with it. Nothing you’ve really said debunks it as well. That would be a perfect solution, and the solution they most likely will go with.
You do know they’re not nerfing Delve gear right? Have you been paying attention to what Blizz has been saying this whole time? Multiple times?
They did say they’re looking at the on ramp for mythics and will do something. So, no matter how much you want delves to drop champion track gear max. It’s trivial discussion. It’s not going to happen.
listen man. You’re not the authority on logic/reasoning. Often times the people who think they know best attempt to own a subject. You can’t. There’s a few ways they can adjust M+ to help them out, but honestly it’s not even my concern. You haven’t shown delve players any respect really unless it goes along with what you want.
Do not break up my post into 20 different sentences. I will not read or answer it’s so annoying. Have a little social awareness, and honestly I don’t even think you do it to conversation, you’re just breaking up an argument in an attempt to delude it into something that can’t be understood.
I’m not even talking about that. You can think of it that way if you want, it’s your right, but I don’t think wow is like that anymore. You can’t really compare raids and M+ as well. Delves are imo always going to be easier because they want it to be accessible, and also group play is inherently more hard because you need 5 or more people to have synergy to beat hard content.
Only if your ilvl is the most important thing to you, which for most people using delves as their end game it isn’t important in the slightest. If it was they wouldn’t be doing delves as their end game.
This is really the key difference between the groups arguing here. lol
