I think that, much like Horrific Visions, the fact that people CAN get Heroic raid-level loot from delves, but they personally AREN’T getting it (due to skill issues) is going to be a major sore spot. (See also Mage Tower, Torghast, blah blah blah.)

Delves should give mythic level gear

My prediction is that, like Horrific Visions, the higher-end stuff will be at a difficulty that will be beyond some players. And they will come and complain that Delves are “only for the 1%” just like they did with Horrific Visions. But we’ll see.

As time goes on my sympathy well for scaling issues is quickly running dry. It’s becoming more clear with each passing day that most of the people complaining were expecting an easy, no-effort path to high level gear for playing by themselves

It’s become clear to me with each passing day that most of the people complaining about casuals don’t think the hammer has come down hard enough on casuals, that they deserve no end content and no rewards unless they decide to do the hardest content in the game.

Who do you think is paying for the development of your content? You’re certainly not paying the cost of it yourself. There aren’t enough elites in the gaming world who want to play wow to make the game anything more than a husk of what it is now if you had your way.

I love this delve thing. Being rewarded for your effort is 100% nicer than the RNG loot fest of raiding. As someone with terrible dice luck, the alternative to gearing up is nice. It is a lot more chill than mythic+ as well.

Ignore the death knight hate, apparently some streamer named towl something another said bad things about death knights so now their toxic community is coming on over to hate on DK’s. Streamers really need to consider the consequences of their actions and realize they got droolers for a community that will act on their stupid words.

I’ve got one, and a ret paladin and a ww monk at max. All real easy to do delves on.

Nothing wrong with playing a strong easy class.

What is wrong is assuming something ingame is easy for everyone because of your ezmode experience

I like delves but I’m not crazy about being killed. Used to not bother me when I pvp’d but it’s been awhile since I’ve done that.

I also like things to be easy, too easy for most player’s tastes in this game so that’s just me.

All that said, I like the delves. They are stress free for the most part and interesting, a good way to get geared up too so I appreciate them.

I wish I was better at the game though and could do higher tiers without spazzing out, but that’s life.

Who are you talking to? The highest key I’ve ever done is like +7 and I’ve never set foot in anything above LFR raiding since Legion. I’m as casual as they come, and I’m still able to do T8s just fine

Casual =/= bad, and casual content does not mean you will be allowed to put in zero effort for heroic raid-level rewards
