I am enjoying them, I am having a hard time doing bountifuls everyday though like I should be. I just lose motivation after I am out of keys. There needs to be more reasons to do these when you no longer have any keys. Idk what they could do though. Normal dungeon level gear though for the difficulty of a tier 8 feels really bad, and yet you need to do bountifuls as tier 8 just incase a map drops.
I think it definitely fills the niche of soloable content for gearing for those who want it.
Something that probably hasn’t set in for some is that they’ll have to spec in ways to specifically maximize their chances in this specific type of content.
I’ll definitely make use of it if I’m up late and none of my guild are online for raid or M+, especially on my alts.
Delves are amazing. It’s the only feature that brought my husband back to WoW, because he likes getting good gear in the smallest groups possible. So now it can just be me and him vs spiders, which he’s looking forward to killing lol.
i would enjoy them a lot more if they gave me some curios the only reason to do bountiful delves if you have no keys is to level brann and that is simply unfun to me
Yeah its really kinda meh once your out of keys all you get is some brann xp, season journey xp, and a hope that you get a map to drop. Just not worth it.
This is so nonsequiter, I’m not really sure how to respond. Are you saying balance won’t improve, they will be perfect, or it’s not fun to have solo challenging content?
I don’t think they need to be endlessly rewarding; it would be worse if they were. Maw of the Damned situation type worse. Given the reward structure has a limited lifespan given the relative level of the drops, you might be right though.
Of course you don’t know how to respond. You can’t understand how other players might have different preferences than you and think they have some obligation to want to be like you.
Since the lowest tier is totally stupid and unrewarding, participation among the casual solo players who were told it had been designed for them has probably not met projections.
Just because you water down hard content and then tell casuals you designed it just for them doesn’t mean they’re going to obediently do it if they disagree.
Delves are the greatest things to happen to this game since vanilla. I’m worried that they might be ruined by bowing to ridiculous demands and trying to satisfy everybody. That has yet to be determined. But right now the future is bright.
Hopefully they make them solo exclusive content. They need to pick a lane.
And they very likely never will be, because classes are inherently too different to balance individually without extremely bespoke balancing. Even in mage tower, with much smaller groupings of specs, there were massive balance issues.
If you’re expecting balance, you’re going to be disappointed. Luckily, because it is again a solo experience, it doesn’t matter at all unless you cannot do the content, which every spec can at the level where rewards are present.
OP not paying attention to what’s been happening with delves. Overall a great idea, but they are a hot mess atm. Either that or he’s just doing some posturing.
Yesterday the delves were fun and a bit challenging, today they were hammering. No bueno, no fun. Blizz is just scrambling thanks to OP exploiters skewing the data.
I’d argue they are designed for casuals since I consider myself one and so does my Guild. We’re a casual AOTC guild that also runs keys but none of us has the time anymore to no life the game.
Given nothing I said had anything to do with other players, I’m going to go ahead and assume you’ve somehow warped here from some other thread and hit reply without noticing it’s happening?
You’re free to like and want whatever you want. Delves aint it.
