Yeah giving melee weapons to a hunter over a warrior, or giving ranged weapons to a melee over a hunter is stupid. That’s a corrupt loot council and you should save yourself the headache and leave now.

Just find a good simple MS>OS with a mainly static roster or at least an EP:GP system.
LC just leaves a sour taste in your mouth
Ulduar isn’t that serious where you need to minmax upgrades, it’s just a power trip by the LC.

LC is only as good as the people who are choosing the loot. Every loot system has its flaws, just decide which one is best for you going ahead. Personally I strongly prefer LC because it doesn’t come down to chance if I get a major upgrade, it also isn’t gambling and it doesn’t turn into feast or famine tier loot like GKP does.

Warriors have several other options, and Stormrune Edge is well itemised for Hunters.
Hunters also do more damage, are ranged and bring some utility while Warriors exist only to let the Feral DPS outdamage someone in this phase.

Possibly, or maybe they’d pass for the more suited class. I’ve seen this a bunch in my guild.
But anyway even if the hunter MS rolled and you lost atleast you lost to RNG and not because some of your comrades decided someone else is more deserving, which is especially bizarre in OPs example given they’re more suited than the hunter but I expect it’s because the hunter does more damage and the poor warrior OP is being treated like a second rate raider because their class isn’t performing the best rn.
Idk, personal preference ig. I’d prefer to lose a roll to pure RNG than to just have someone else given loot when it’s something I could equally use.

Yea, I’d run away from that guild quickly… their priorities are whacked. Is the hunter that got the item a friend is probably a close friend.

Screw RNG i’d rather have a good Loot council determine who gets the weapon. because if its a weapon thats any where near the top of my bis list that SoB is mine. that hunter ain’t getting it. yeah dealing with two sets of RNG get out. no way. screw that nonsense.

There’s plenty of Polearms and Staves in Ulduar to not give Stormrune Edge to a Hunter. Your LC is biased and clueless.
