Maybe because you’re projecting? There are all kinds of people out there. Chronormu is a feminine male that likes to indulge/show that in his visage form. There’s nothing wrong with that. Being trans is fine, but so is just being feminine and not trans.

I would have never assumed so, truthfully. The concept of gender differs for dragons and they base their visages on whatever they feel like.

Much like a man who chooses to play a female character does not have to identify as a woman.

I am also going to quickly clarify here that I am trans myself.
If that was, in fact, the intention with Chromie, I have no problem.
Otherwise, nuance is important. Pronouns and appearances are not necessarily indicative of gender.
And this goes doubly so for shapeshifting beings.

They/Them/He/She/Was/Were who quote themselves have a self indulgence to see themselves on a higher pedestal that most.

whether or not in the wow universe/ dragon kind view this as trangendered or not doesn’t matter when the writers intentions are simply to build a character a group of people can relate to…

Before choosing a visage form, Chronormu identified as he/him. Once Chronormu chose the visage of Chromie the female gnome, she became female in all aspects of life, meaning her draconic name became Chronormi and her pronouns became she/her.
