And yet none of them have magically transformed themselves into girls, transitioned into being girls, or so much as presented themselves as girls in the real world. You know, the thing Chromie is doing.

You’re referring to people who can’t revert back in a matter of seconds and are stuck like that until they can do something about it. Chromie is undeniably gender fluid, he switches back and forth between his female visage and his male Dragon form, but this is not trans.

This dysphoria of gender is not evident with Chronormu as again… he still uses his male name that was assigned to him. What, is he too lazy to change literally one letter? The truth is he doesn’t care. Maybe he has a preferance to being female but the male part is just as part of his identity still. That is not trans.

Nobody was shown anything new, we were all shown the exact same story that’s existed for years just with more detail. It ended exactly the same and everyone goes gaga for Kalec’s comment of Chromie teaching them all a valuable lesson which is the same dialogue word for word that it’s always been in the story. But he wasn’t even talking about gender because he reveals it as an off-handed remark when he then asks why Chromie chose a female visage.

Chromie only light-heartly came back at Kalec with his own comment for his blue hair earlier in the story.

“It suits me”.

Kalec: “You came to me, as well as others, for advice. So why is it I feel that we are the ones who were taught a lesson?”

Chromie: “Perhaps we all have things to learn from one another.”

Kalec: “I believe I understand why you chose to take the form of a gnome. But if I may ask, why did you choose to become female as well?”

Look I never said I was against the idea of Chromie being trans. I’m against the idea of everyone assuming when he could very well just be either tomgirl, flamboyant, femininely expressive or even akin to a drag queen as well. The story falls into these same categories all the same as trans.

The trans bandwagon needs to stop because nobody said anything about that or even the other things. The only ones screaming out it’s official media writers quoting Blizzard that didn’t say it, quoting Steve Danuser that didn’t say and straight up just jumping on the same bandwagon as everyone else assuming that this is what it’s about when Blizzard confirmed nothing.

At least in Overwatch they had the balls to out and say Tracer was lesbian and Soldier 76 was gay.

What if it just suits Chromie to be femininely expressive about himself, female pronouns and all, as a male-intersex I’ve liked female pronouns and titles myself here and there, but I still identify as a male. Think it doesn’t exist as a thing? Well I’m right here and pretty sure I’m real.

When Chronormu is in his dragon/true form he’s a male. He never once says he doesn’t think he was meant to be a male or anything close to that.

He just picked a female gnome because he wanted to be small and approachable.

Cute story, glad I read it. And I’m glad to have that rumor put to rest.

Chromie has pretty much always used She/Her pronouns. just cause she hasn’t medically transitioned in her dragon form doesn’t mean she identifies as male. She may have a male dragon form but she actively uses feminine pronouns and a feminine name. She’s not just “using a female gnome body to be approachable”, she is a girl, always will be.

And as a Trans Person myself I can speak for this experience as being very relatable to my own
