Oh and you can just report them for threats. Blizz seems to take that real serious now and acts almost instantly.

It’s one thing to require proof but another to say someone, anyone in this game deserves to be had death threats thrown at them. It’s a game.

Open a GM ticket. They will check the logs. The offender should get banned.

What could someone possibly do in a video game that warrants a death threat?
Never received death threats.
However, I did receive messages from someone who obviously worked for Blizzard (they knew stuff that only Blizz was privy to via the suggestion box and my account/chat log) back in legion which was very… unsettling.
Nothing explicit but having an IRL spider crawl on you is creepy all the same.

Just common sense. Very few people go around threatening others without something being said or done first.
OP put that ‘unjustifiably’ in there for a reason, I am curious why.
I personally can’t think of anything in this game that is justifiably a reason to receive a death threat.
This is Sunday though - so who knows.

But the OP himself feels some death threats are justifiable.
Coupled with his comments about wanting a picture of the threats back for scrapbooking, and wanting to know what Blizzard will do to ensure their violent WoW game will not contribute to mass shootings…
I question a lot of what is going on here.

Have you been in a BG? doing poorly there is reason for some unstable people enough.

Yes I have been in a BG but I have never seen individuals just singled out and attacked.

Requiring proof is fine but the victim blame mindset is not. Even if he called them a fat goblin it doesn’t warrant a death threat. Death threats in this day and age are just downright stupid.
