How can I raise a ServiceNow ticket so the option to invert day/night display can be lodged?

Doesn’t matter about time events or NPC’s walking around with torches, just having brightness to be able to appreciate the map properly would keep me going.

You just contradicted yourself one post you say it’s gameplay next you say it’s QoL, QoL isn’t gameplay, gameplay issues impede on gameplay, they stop you using certain spells, make certain specs broken, make certain things needed for raiding, etc etc ie like I said Azurite armour imo, Azurite armour also affects all players worldwide, this QoL issue only affects us so yes it’s natural it would be a lower priority.

This IS a QoL issue, our screen being lighter or darker doesn’t stop us casting spells, doesn’t change mob behavior or impede our actual gameplay in any way.

I see day and night myself, I don’t need screenshots, but you can see the same mobs at nighttime ingame that you can at daytime.

I took these today 12 hours (well 12 and half) apart, and yes there is a difference I admit that, but all the mobs are as visible in both day or night.

But as I’ve said a couple of times now, I don’t mind the dark, that’s my personal opinion but it doesn’t mean I don’t want it fixed for you guys one day because overall I know it’s just a visual thing and doesn’t change my gameplay at all.

I honestly don’t even notice day or night personally, so sure I hope for a fix for you guys who do.

I’ve seen every zone mate, I have 16 120’s I get around.

You’re cherry picking my replies though so I’m gonna cut back, if you’re only going to cherry pick bits to argue with then I won’t bother responding to you. For example:

You cherry picked me saying “I honestly don’t even notice day or night personally” to try and make me look bad/give yourself an arguing point when RIGHT after that I said “so sure I hope for a fix for you guys who do.”

This is why you’re difficult to deal with, you’re looking for a fight not discussion and I’m not going to give you it.

I just hate the fact that some events in wow are tied to the time of day and only available during day or night time. I tend to be a night owl so I do get a chance to do them. However for other this is not possible so unless they stay till 12am or 3am they can’t get them,which overall seems unfair. While I don’t notice a huge difference between the day night. I do prefer the cycle to match with my realm which it currently dose not. I would like to point out I do understand why it was done due to world boss ,cross realm and things like the Booty Bay fishing event. The only idea I can think of would be to set Wow to it own time not based on real world time giving everyone a chance to see day and night.

I’m just getting use to the chirping crickets and doing my quests in under the light of candles and braziers. Have seen the zones a couple of times when the sun is up and they do have a much different feel to them.

Blizzard can make a potion in a matter of days to appease some RPers because Blizzard broke their precious addon and stopped them from circumventing cross faction chat… a gameplay element that Blizzard imposed on the game!

But we still have to play in perpetual darkness years after the day/night cycle change was made and Blizzard STILL HAVE NOT SPOKEN TO US ABOUT IT!!!

Numerous threads have gone ignored! Multiple Q&As have gone by with Ion only addressing M+ players and only answering soft ball questions because he is to cowardly to do anything else!

And we still get ignored!!! If there wasnt a profanity filter here I would really lace this thread with some choice words just to show how competely outraged I am with Blizzards “we dont give a F” attitude to anyone outside of the US!

Damn you all Blizzard!

Honestly, nowadays nighttime in WoW is so bright, I hardly ever notice it IS night :frowning: I mean, I have seriously played other games set in daytime that were darker and more shadowy than Blizzard’s idea of night :smiley: It is absurd. Unless proper noticeable nights are brought back, why even bother syncing time?

I think everyone here in OCE has just given up now. I have yet to see any legion/bfa zone in daylight. Without knowing the intricacies, you would think the easiest option would be a consumable that would be able to change the skybox for players on the client side, and it saves Devs from worrying about having night NPCs etc.

Just thought Id show you what I see every day in FF14.

They have a rotating day night cycle, you havent LIVED until youve walked under the sun in Limsa.

They simply just need to add an option to disable night effects so you only see daylight. I am sick of playing when its so dark in the game. It’s depressing and makes me not want to play. I’ve bearly seen BFA in sunlight…
