I tried it on beta and hated it at first but when I learned the weight and direction of it all. It’s really fricken nice. If you don’t like it then OK but maybe learn to use it. It can be annoying at times for me at least.
Sure there is, just do normal flying w/o the pointless wait.

I’m not even asking to be able to use my flying mounts. I just don’t want to use dragonriding. I’ve mentioned it elsewhere, but I stopped unlocking flying when they put in the pathfinder achievements and have been on my ground mounts only for several expansions now.

I don’t understand why we can’t just have both.
Also, let dracthyr use their own wings for the dragon riding system.
Is it so hard to let people play the way the want to play when it literally only affects them.

There’s a glyph that helps with vigor when gathering and mining/herbing specializations that allow you to stay mounted. It’s really not that bad, though I do it on a dracthyr in case my vigor runs out, in which case I just use Soar.
There is but the regen is so small it’s barely noticeable.
I should note it’s not really a major issue with it. Even with the rapid short hopping on my druid, I was really only sitting around resting very infrequently.
So it’s a minor gripe at best, and one that could be more or less solved by just speeding up vigor regeneration while on the ground a little bit.
They just want to be able to afk mid air/mid flight or go from point a to point b with no restrictions such as scaling massive cliffs without vigor.
They just want a path of least resistance and because dragon riding takes a modicum of effort it’s too much for them.
Dragon Riding has literally been the biggest revelation that most pro flyers only wanted flying so that they could ignore as much content as possible between their objectives. That it wasn’t because it was a fun mechanic, as dragon riding as a far more interesting mechanic and they seemingly hate it, but simply they just won easy path from point A to B with his minimal resistance is absolutely possible.
Dragon Riding is great. Not only is it a fun mechanic, but I still get to see the tears or the pro flying group and now they have nothing to hide behind when making their arguments as it just simply proved that they want it so that they can be lazy and do less.

Friendly reminder that Flying is a mistake.
I haven’t unlocked flying since WOD. I just don’t like dragonriding and wouldn’t voluntarily use it. Just like I didn’t use regular flying in past expansions.
