Dawnbreaker is the worst Dungeon in WoW History

De Other Side is still the king of terrible dungeons in my eyes. I also hated Waycrest Manor and Shrine of the Storms a lot, too.

I dislike the gimmick of Darkflame Cleft than Dawnbreaker’s last boss intermission, but everything else is pretty nice. I especially like that none of these are super long.

Im with the Paladin, It’s bad! I came her to maybe see if I was going crazy or missing something to comprehend this damned dungeon, but nope. It seems everyone is in agreement that this dungeon is bad.

After you run it a couple of times it gets better.

Also watch a vid like I did and things should go better
:grinning:

After running this on mythic I agree that it is just the worst. Particulary trying to land on the mini bosses or, in some cases, on an add near the mini boss – without pulling half the area. It is really, really bad. And the mini bosses have been vanishing on me just before landing which trips me up. Overall this dungeon needs jesus to the nth degree. Oculus was nothing compared to this IMO.

Rework this dungeon

YES! That is the worst dungeon this expansion. I don’t mind Dawnbreaker, it’s kinda fun.

The mechanics in this dungeon aren’t complicated, you just need to know them.

it really isnt that difficult. Only thing I hate about this dungeon is flying through the boat instead of being able to land on it. thats going to screw some keys up BIG TIME!

My first Dawnbreaker run, I stayed on the ship during the void explosion and used Aspect of the Turtle to cheese it.

I did not survive, lol.

Also, the part where the main ship gets webbed and you need to take out the smaller ships- a party member fell through the smaller airship and died ahah.

Dawnbreaker is a wonky dungeon for sure, especially the ending chase part, but overall I like it.

Yeah I’ve fell through the airship quite a few times. its so frustrating. thats the worst part about this dungeon. the mechanics are super easy… its the unknown of “will i fell through the ship” that sucks lol

Weird. It’s my favorite dungeon of the expansion. What about it is giving you problems?

If you’re worried about pugs messing up, just spend a little time explaining what to do. Did you play during the Burning Crusade? Explaining encounters was just part of the game.

I don’t have high expectations. To this day, people still can’t figure out The Oculus. Not sure why Blizzard insists on forcing vehicle garbage into the game. I’m not into Flappy Bird. I’m not into Pod Racer. I want to smash things.

too many people nowadays have no patience. Like 1-2 wipe and people leave even in mythic 0 lol. It is like they did not have to learn the dungeon from scratch as well that they feel so superior to people still learning.

In my opinion, being forced to use Garbage Flying mode is a big part of what makes this dungeon bad. Blizzard is putting in Garbage Flying skips all over because they realize it’s garbage, but I don’t see how they’re going to do it for this.

Outside of that, it’s okay. I don’t want to see any complaints when people fail due to Garbage Flight in their pug groups.

I actually dont think its that bad once you know whats happening. It’s pretty simple after youve been through a few times. I do feel like the city area is a bit too congested though. Like it’d be nice to have a “safe” space to land and then do some sort of route to each mini boss mob or whatever. Just talk it out with the group youre with and all… It’s a pretty short dungeon

I love that this dungeon is just going to be a bad filter because they can’t figure out how to make a mental path

The more I do it, the more I like it.

I can’t wait for the day I’m in a group that decides to clean more of the city trash. Let’s make the place a mess!

This has happened to me also…flew towards the ship and got caught inside of it.

Garbage flight = skyriding? I like skyriding, so I can’t relate, I guess.
