I think it looks awesome, especially the red tint. 3D back piece is always great too.

My only complaints would be the male belt clips the legs and the left hand glove is a little too tame for my tastes, but overall I’m excited for the set

Looks fine to me. It’s definitely got the troll vibe c: The helmet is a bit iffy but I’m not fond of helmets in general.

Blizzard you need to call your art team back in and do something about that helm, it’s an insult.
Zappy boy mask was right there in front of you the whole time, and you chose to give trolls a nose sock?
The helmet and belt are the worst parts of this set, I would say everything else looks okay, but please guys do not let this go live the way it looks now, I’ve been looking forward to seeing the heritage armor for so long and I’ve been feeling so gutted all day since seeing this on WoWhead, it’s so much worse than I was hoping it would be.

It is, but as other have pointed out, it didn’t cover the nose before. It hung from the tusks and lower jaw.

It looks from the front view that maybe turkeys were the inspiration for this set because of that red thing hanging down from the face to the knees or so.
It’s an odd style.

It looks good, to be honest. Like the other racial-themed transmog you can get from the game.
I have no problem with the Shadowhunter face mask as long as it has physics. I’m hoping they just haven’t add them yet.

If that face sock is stiff and clips it’s gonna be terrible.
Along with physics there should probably be 2 alternate helmets. One with the cloth below the nose a la Sen’jin/Zul’jin, and one that is a full tiki mask (which is also a WC3 Shadowhunter look).
Second one wouldn’t even be that much work, the accurate mask is just one of the voodoo quest shields. Just improve the texture, add eyeholes, and slap it on their face (between the tusks, don’t hide them).

It isn’t too bad. Was hoping they would have gone with something like what they did for Zappy Boy in BFA. That was a really nice looking troll set.

Okay so, is this the final iteration of the Troll armor set or is it still baking? Because when the Forsaken one got datamined, everyone freaked out also, but no one realized that Blizz was still working on it.

Yup. I hope they change it to look like Zul’jin.
Off topic, but I also wish trolls had body types to choose from. If I could look as strapping as Zul’jin, I’d never play anything else.

I thought the Troll set was really well done. Youre not obligated to wear the helm. Find another one you like.

I gave this set a 7/10.
I like all of it except the back piece and the helm. The helm is atrocious and I’m not sure what that dangly cloth thing is supposed to be but I don’t want it, and for the back piece I really wanted a more witch doctor looking bag of shrunken heads or something similar to what Voljin wears.
Overall the set is high quality (much better than the Draenei) but I wanted more of a witch doctor feel instead of generic troll warrior, but I will still be rocking this set on my trolls.
I hope there are more weapons other than just a two handed sword that match it!
