Ooo shiny!
I play Conan for this reason. When I want dark, I go there. When I want lame end game content, I log in here.
I agree they need much more than that though.
Even Diablo has gotten way more light themed. Play original Diablo games then play D3 and you will know exactly what I am talking about.
Just pointing out I mentioned in my post that Ajh kahet was the exception. But the older artwork and tone for nerubians was much darker than even that.
And then you ignore D4 because then it messes up the narrative.
How so?
I have never once played D4. Not going to talk about something that I do not play. Nice attempt at trolling like always but you were wrong this time. Hey um… I specifically stated D3, now didn’t I? Yea. So why did you bring up Diablo 4. Show me your Diablo 4 toons for proof that you play it and how it is just as dark as the original Diablos were.
Corpse explosion from D3 vs the one in the original Diablos. And there is also a lot less blood and the maps are much more bright now in the dungeons as compared to before. I don’t only play WoW like you people do so I know how other games work. And their graphics are now super bright and on the mobile one that later made it to PC, that one had very bright and shiny graphics and so that + the super nerfed corpse explosions, plus the lack of able to control an army of skeletons and the blood golem changes.
D4 is the latest, D3 was 13 years ago.
Contradicts your “gotten lighter” statement. Whether you played it or not is immaterial.
No it doesn’t. Even the creator of Diablo, David Brevik says so. He hates the current Diablo games that Blizzard makes. The CREATOR of Diablo… HATES the current Diablos that Blizzard makes. Thats should say enough right there. He said there was too much interference from Blizzard and they kept trying to change his darker themes so he left.
Oh hey non-sequitur
But also
I feel like with Diablo 4 in a lot of ways, it feels a lot like a game I would design. In fact, I almost did design a similar game, it’s called Marvel heroes that had a lot of things they were talking about that they were going to incorporate. It’s an ARPG with some MMO elements. -David Brevik
I bet you liked the Diablo teddy bear quest that Blizzard forced David to put in even after he asked repeatedly for it not to happen.
Are you okay?
Yea cuz i actually played the original Diablo games unlike you and want them to stay true to what they were meant to be. You’re just doing fanboy posting here where you think Blizzard is 100% perfect and has never done anything wrong ever. Fairly obvious that you only play WoW since you obviously have no clue what I am talking about here. Very odd when people stand up for something and even argue to defend a game they have never played. If you did play it, you would agree with me. Show me your Diablo toons. Since you play it so much. Oh and how the Blizzard team felt bad about the hidden cow level quest in Diablo where you kill a bunch of cows so then they forced in a cute little cow and also put in NPC in cow suits saying how we should love cows which is another thing that Devid Brevik did not ask for.
And then that silly demon NPC that always talked like a happy cowboy and said lots of non Diablo related stuff, yet another thing that Brevik did not want in the game but that was forced in anyways.
They got me excited for an expansion on Dragons.
Instead we got some gross Disney friendship story where everyone is Alextrasza’s dearest friend and Kalecgos constantly needs a hug.
… are you okay?
Shadowlands had a good balance of different styles. Too bad the actual expansion was doodoo.
So you don’t play Diablo, never have, never will… that’s why you have to keep repeating the same phrase over and over again. Odd to talk about what you don’t know about. All you play is WoW and you’re just average at that. Play Diablo 1&2 all the way through, then comment on it.
