People offended by this are the most easily offended people I have ever seen.
No, you come across as a socially maladapted redditor.
I never said I was offended by it.
Use whatever synonym you want.
People bothered by it.
People that take issue with it.
People that do anything besides just move on.
It’s a bit tiresome when activists, both within and without, think making a change to a game is of utmost importance that they must do it no matter what but when someone says “I think that’s dumb” then it’s that person who is over-reacting and should move on. If it was important enough to change it should be important enough to talk about.
Since you don’t care so much I think we should change it back and then anyone who wishes to use it as a signal that sex isn’t real can be told to ‘move on.’
It would be activism to change it back.
And as you stated, things shouldnt be changed due to activism.
Was it a silly change? Sure.
Does it effect anything? Nope.
This is not what I said so this cute little syllogism you concocted doesn’t work.
I think we should return to the status quo and reject attempts to rewrite reality to satisfy a certain narcissistic cohort which demands affirmation. It would be a strong signal that the days of centering the game on Diversity Scores (like rating arabs 7/10) are over.
The irony in wanting the game centered around what you want, and not a narcissistic group of people.
I get it.
Diversity is scary. Character creation screens are scary.
No game can be good with this.
Wait. BG3 exists.
People rating races on a scale of 1-10 is bad, I agree.
If you disagree can you tell me where a few races fall on your 1-10 scale?
What does this have to do with body 1/2 on the character creation screen?
Goblins are clearly a 10.
You mockingly said ‘diversity is scary’ when I referred to Blizzard rating real life races on a scale of 1-10.
There’s a clear line between developing a system that rates races, sexuality, gender identity, and culture and rejecting the reality of the sexual binary behind body type 1/2.
Where is this happening?
Can we have a source so we are all on the same page?

Here is blizzard rushing to release a PR article they were proud of in which they rank races (Arab 7/10) and cultures (Egyptian 7/10) based on how non-white they all are.
Blizzard was ‘enthusiastic’ about this project which had been worked on for years that was attempting to be used industry wide.
I think it’s obvious to me the culture of people enthusiastically using such a tool and how there’s a straight line between this culture and body type 1/2 implementation.
If you can’t, that’s fine - but I suspect you’re just choosing not to admit it.
As my posts on the topic are being flagged and removed, I am just going to move on.
Fair enough. Not by me, however. I’m sorry others are wishing to stifle this.
Probably for the best.
Have you done the quest in Azj’kahet where a forsaken is being eaten alive (well, “alive”) by spiderlings inside his skull and asks you to help kill the ones who laid them?
Damn that last pic is super hot, not going to lie. What’s his name?
