It’s a bit tiresome when activists, both within and without, think making a change to a game is of utmost importance that they must do it no matter what but when someone says “I think that’s dumb” then it’s that person who is over-reacting and should move on. If it was important enough to change it should be important enough to talk about.
Since you don’t care so much I think we should change it back and then anyone who wishes to use it as a signal that sex isn’t real can be told to ‘move on.’
It would be activism to change it back.
And as you stated, things shouldnt be changed due to activism.

I think we should return to the status quo and reject attempts to rewrite reality to satisfy a certain narcissistic cohort which demands affirmation. It would be a strong signal that the days of centering the game on Diversity Scores (like rating arabs 7/10) are over.
The irony in wanting the game centered around what you want, and not a narcissistic group of people.

People rating races on a scale of 1-10 is bad, I agree.
If you disagree can you tell me where a few races fall on your 1-10 scale?
What does this have to do with body 1/2 on the character creation screen?

You mockingly said ‘diversity is scary’ when I referred to Blizzard rating real life races on a scale of 1-10.
There’s a clear line between developing a system that rates races, sexuality, gender identity, and culture and rejecting the reality of the sexual binary behind body type 1/2.
Where is this happening?

Here is blizzard rushing to release a PR article they were proud of in which they rank races (Arab 7/10) and cultures (Egyptian 7/10) based on how non-white they all are.
Blizzard was ‘enthusiastic’ about this project which had been worked on for years that was attempting to be used industry wide.
I think it’s obvious to me the culture of people enthusiastically using such a tool and how there’s a straight line between this culture and body type 1/2 implementation.
If you can’t, that’s fine - but I suspect you’re just choosing not to admit it.
As my posts on the topic are being flagged and removed, I am just going to move on.
