First do you know what a gaslighter is? Can you define it or are you just using a buzzword you saw someone use? Second explain how me saying something was designed for kids contradicts me saying something has mature elements? Just look at the Dark Crystal or even Goosebumps which are designed with kids watching in mind. They still have mature themes but not the type violence( that you put as being mature) in them. They are pretty close to WoW levels of violence and such.
I state yet again that you just don’t understand the chain of events or how things relate to each. That is a you problem not me gaslighting you.
They have to change to A rated before they do that . Look at Shadowlands version of hell ? >.> disappointing

Spiders and clowns aren’t scary to me. And I agree the game isn’t dark enough for me from a thought perspective rather than mutant experiment
I’m talking a Sylvanas raising dead for her army. Arthas marching like a relentless force. Teldrassil burning felt too impersonal with catapults compared to how Sylvanas died or Uther.
The culling of Stratholme. That’s dark. The ordinary faced with the prospect of Doom. Theramore. The Druid place in Stonetalon. Jaina in Drustvar.
There are pockets of sequences. But they don’t last. It could just simply be the game. It’s not meant to be Doom, but then again a little Vaermina or Molag Bal would go a long way.
Dornagol could have been better as like a lost Dwarven civilization bound in mystery like the Dwemer. And that thing that was locked in the cave in the Ringing Deeps with the Kobold warnings would make for some good jump scares.
Xalatath could stand to be more secretive. Something that says less, shows less, and taunts you everywhere like the Lich King by saying only enough to put you on edge.

well …it’s the same thing in all entertainment, how many times can the world end without the world ending?
Unless there is a resolution that truly does end the world for you as the actual player (the one consuming the media) then there is never any sort of agency and you’ll be plucked out of the danger almost immediately.
You know why Hardcore WoW is fun? There’s ACTUAL danger, your character has a death that all of a sudden makes the stakes for your character in WoW real, even when the battle is against a measly raptor.
Just wait till Velen gets his muscly old man Draenei hands on his protege… he’ll toughen him up real quick XD. Velen: “Boohoo hoo, boy I watched the near entirety of my home planet’s government and its people turn into Demons and slaughter everything I held dear for millenia! Straighten up you human pansy!”
And just for that brain dissolving statement…you’re going back in the hole!

and it is almost always the least masculine, least “mature” people who absolutely do not like fighting and blood irl that are like this. nearly every time.

-I give an example of how TWW is less mature.
-You say the storyline is mature.
-I gave an example of changes made to show the game is now targeted to kids.
-Now you say it’s always been targeted to kids.
-I share a well documented instance of a change made specifically for a developers kid.
-After previously denying there’s been any changes, you now say changes were made, because of the lawsuit.
If you still don’t see it, that’s textbook narcissism. You people make it too easy.

Mature referring to the writing and themes.
And Mature meaning the rating of the game.
Are two different things.

This comes up a lot where people claim the game has a weak story. The lack of reading the side quests and flavor things as well goes right over the heads of many here & then they mimic and parrot streamers who also don’t have a clue about the story
Just my observation

I really like the idea that the Shadowlands story was so terrible it gave Anduin mental trauma.

And?
Nearly everything on azeroth eats people
Or your opinion. The fact is the story has been going down hill for a while now. And I guess Blizzard themselves noticed that since they pretty much cleaned out their former story team.

That’s the great thing about opinions, you have yours, I have mine. We agree, cool, we don’t also cool…
…unless… nah nevermind.

And sentient races that eat other sentient people are evil.
Many sentient races eat other sentient races
Ima keep it 100 with you.
If a pig started talking I’d still eat him.

Isn’t that part of how demon hunters get their powers?
