They won’t get it. Even if they do… they would also need the pale skin color to match. Then what? Are they undead?

Since we left to the Shadowlands, we left a lot of story threads untied, one of which would be the Dark Rangers and what they’ve been up to since Sylvanas betrayed the Horde. I’m hoping when we go back to Azeroth, we’ll see them again and that they have proven themselves as loyal members of the Horde.
If there is still distrust for some reason, the Horde totally owes me several favors for saving the world (of Warcraft!) multiple times. I’ll be happy to put in a good word for them to the Horde Council, assuming they’ll pay me any attention aside from when the world (of Warcraft!) is in danger.

The only thing that could reasonably explain their refusal to add such an easy request is that they have something bigger planned for Dark Rangers.

No matter what races get playable, people are going to complain about it in some fashion. In general, some would grumble at first and then move on afterwards. No specific race becoming playable will please everyone.
The thing is, every NPC race has passionate fans who would be happy to see their dream race finally become playable. Assuming the race that becomes playable is reasonable, I think that’s more important than the amount of people who would complain about a race’s inclusion.
Thus, when it comes to future playable races, the more the merrier, I say!

I found what appears to be a mock-up of Dark Rangers as a class on Reddit that I wanted to share. Will stress this is not real, unfortunately.
I would link to the Reddit thread, but there is a URL within that thread someone linked to the source of this, which made this as an April Fool’s joke.
However, upon clicking it (the URL to the source, not the Reddit thread), my Anti Virus popped up saying it was a potentially dangerous website. Not sure if the domain changed and was changed to be something malicious or if it was a false positive. As such, I’ll refrain from linking to the Reddit thread, and if you happen to find it, I don’t recommend clicking the original source URL of this image.
I don’t know who created the mock-up, but the top image was taken from an artist on DeviantArt, which is suppose to be a Drow Ranger as opposed to a Dark Ranger in WoW. It was created by a user named kunkka and was uploaded to the DeviantArt website on Nov. 20th, 2009.
