One one hand, Blood Elves really need more. On the other hand, I really think a Forsaken toggle would make the most lore sense. On the third hand, (lol), the Forsaken Starting zone is also an issue, but they could force them to start in Exile’s Reach, I guess. On the FOURTH hand, they could let Dark Rangers be either race, maybe?

Yeah it’s an ongoing discussion here whether it should be forsaken v. blood elf, but many people do bring up the fact that logically speaking, unless they just give DRs access to all blood elf hair styles and such (Which… they might as well put it on Blood Elves then) all forsaken options would need to be modified for them, and there’s no forsaken hairstyles that feel… ‘dark ranger’-ish? Where blood elf ones fit more?

Dark Rangers Need at Minimum.
- Red Eyes
- Undead Skin
- Dark Eye Makeup (For the tear marks/WC3 Dark Ranger Markings)
Can be helped with
- Ombre Hair (Curtain color combos can add that undead look)
- Scars/Damaged Ears
- Darker Jewelry Colors
Would be nice to have but not highly likely
- Dark Ranger Voices
- Altered Racials
- ‘Heritage’ Armor type set.
- NPCs calling you “Dark Ranger” or something like that for a racial name.
- Special Mount.

These are fantastic! You’ll have to thank them for me. I am really grateful for these mockups. The only thing they’re missing are the tear marks, scars, ombres and damaged ears. Still great work!

I don’t think I talked with you about it, but how do you like the concept of Tear Marks being a ‘Makeup/Face Paint’ option? Ariël linked a few concepts but I can’t find them atm.
Then it can be mixed and matched with Scars and the like.
I don’t mind as long as I can get them. I’m easy to please that way.
