I think the long awaited Horde Dark Rangers should come first then we will see some time after for Night Elf ones.
Personally I don’t think the NE ones have much of a standing as an inclusion.
I literally do not understand how people think “VEs = Goth” is a good argument.
Provided these people are mostly trolling, but at least put some effort into it.

I know who it is, it was just perfect timing that I glanced at that reply then Fall’s reply here and I was thinking ugh but then it made me laugh because really Void Elves don’t need anything more from us or our side, they need their own stuff.

Yeah thats kinda what I think too.
Long run I’d be ok with them, especially if its restricted to Horde, but even if not.
But Blood Elves or Forsaken need em first and they are the ones everyone actually wants to play.
Dark Rangers have no basis to be among the Void Elves.

Well they dragged it out of the forums and keep playing victim on other media, so I set the record straight with my own posts on said social media. I’m not as involved in the community on there, though, so mine won’t get as far, but people who are spiteful and not paying attention will not spread it and paint me as some sort of evil gatekeeping monster because they play victim every single time when in reality they’re trying to bait and be toxic.
I have them on ignore. I’ve said I do. They continue to try and reply and bait, though, and drag it to other social media. It’s petty and I’m tired of them trying to twist the situation. Really tired of it.
and I’m blamed for ‘gatekeeping’ when they literally say void elves should get San’layn exclusively when it doesn’t even make a LICK of sense. They just want to be toxic. Too bad many of the alliance community on that media wants to follow that example, and people wonder why some of the the alliance (not you <3) are not taken seriously.
You know it’s a big pile of petty when it’s not void options or expansion they ask for, but for something that Horde has been asking for for years. NOW suddenly they want it? Give me a break.

I’ve had that happen to me on the forums aside from the social media. There’s a reason I never post ANYTHING about myself. There are people that will track you down outside the game just to make drama.
Would not be surprised if they where the same people, they have similar patterns…
The important thing is just to move on and keep posting your ideas. Their cheep tactics won’t work in the long run.

Just need Scars/Runes/Felblood Themes, more focus on Blood Mages, toss in Dark Rangers, San’layn, and some Blood Magic stuff for variety.
I prefer a grey where you get to decide your characters temperament.

Oh same. I just feel like BE’s now are basically Tolkein elves on the wrong side. In TBC, they were, lorewise, a legit horde race in every way. Not purely evil, but riddled with the kind of moral ambiguities that made it 100% clear why they weren’t going to side with the goody-goodies.

I think “Dark” would be a better descriptor, as Evil would imply more of a Morality.
They aren’t on the “wrong” side their story progressed.
Blood Elves and forsaken both seemed to be the most frequent display of loyalists that were marched around Orgrimmar post Sylvanas, the fact that they were show cases as such plus Lor’themars comments on how much Sylvanas meant to BEs during the heritage quest + his comments in nazjatar at least some number of BEs sided with Sylvanas and if that isn’t moral ambiguity idk
That and in the novel (or short story) I don’t recall but when magni came to warn the horde when he left he asked for a portal out and Sylvanas’s personal mage was noted to be a Blood Elf as well.
Sylvanas was also quick to put down Vereesas comments in their comic story saying Blood Elves didn’t need redemption in response to Vereesa wanting to see them redeemed
All true. And I loved the Blood Elf/Sylvanas connection for just that reason.
It’s just that thematically, it seems like we’ve been getting a very “Light forward” version of BE’s lately. While I don’t mind that being PART of their lore and thematic, I miss the fel themes and the early Blood Knight lore we had in the beginning.
Current Blood Knights, under current Liadrin, are a touch too Alliance-flavored for me.

I really don’t like that they’re trying to force light reverence on the Blood Elves. The Sunwell isn’t just holy magic, it’s also arcane as well.

Blood Elves have access to Light/Arcane/Fel/Blood Magics.
They should get to display all of them.
