They would make a excellent regular dwarf customizations, this will allow regular dwarves to be beardless on male characters and let female characters have beards.
I think playing a clumsy orgres would of been fun for Horde.
Kelfin (Goblin customizations) and and tanka (tauren customizations) are over due for sub races for Horde.
Would also like a murlok someday that can be both factors.
I can’t say I’ve ever had trouble identifying blood / void elves, or dwarves / dark iron, or orc / maghar, or whatever else. And frankly, I don’t see any real importance in doing so, anyway. Even in PvP, if it’s red, it’s dead. Racials are nowhere near strong enough to worry about that even. I guess you might stumble upon a void elf as a horde and try to talk to them thinking it’s a blood elf? But even if that ever happened, very minor issue.
EDIT: Oh and pandaren. There’s no issues with pandas and they are literally identical
Yes. That’s why this argument was dead from the moment it was written. Usually a player does not take any interest in the transmog of another one in a pvp situation. That’s actually the east of anyone’s concerns. And in RP-situation you can’t use custom nameplates for the other faction.
I wouldn’t have minded if they’d done something along these lines, but I also like how it’s gone down as is.
I especially like how the Dark Iron work with their brethren.
I do wish that instead of Earthen we’d be getting Wildhammer with the Horde getting Ogres… Nothing against the Earthen themselves I just find it frustrating that they’ve gone this route using the exact same story the dwarves already have going and rather than fill that out by adding in the final clan as a full AR they’ve added the Earthen to rehash it?
It’s very frustrating especially since they could also have given the Horde something if they’d done a race for both sides.
This did happen to my nightborne in Dalaran when a new player was very confused why I, a fellow night elf, was not responding to their question. It was very cute
All the allied races should’ve been relegated to being alternate skin options for existing races and allied races as a group should’ve been races not tied to already playable ones.
i enjoy my allied race characters but let’s be real, it’s lazy.
Yeah. And yet undead loses the ability to speak common, and tauren loses the ability to speak with Night Elves, who were friends and allies of the tauren for thousands of years. As do Nightborne, who are literally Night Elves.
Sometimes I like to imagine that every time a Horde and Alliance leader talking to each other, there’s a couple of elves off screen rapidly translating for them
While I would adore having vrykul, furbolgs would probably be one of the only other races I play. I kept the transformation rod for years even after the quest got changed just to play as one, only lost it due to a faction change lol
