So far, I’ve not as of yet had a problem (Warmode OFF), tab-targeting to cycle past the toys to the Goblin. As long as I’m facing the portal, I never pickup any non-aggressive mob/thing.
But I am going to make a /tar Treasure Goblin macro just in case I do have that issue. Excellent suggestion!

I can make spam swipe non stop and target them and use moonfire protection pally same thing theirb AoE.
Yeah I think thats it. Its so hard to see, but the time you DO see it…the corpse is gone. The macro didnt work with auto loot. It only happens maybe 3/10 times…so I can live with it. But it doesnt change that it sucks.
Weird. I always just follow the huge group of people looting, and the loot icon shows through on top of them on hover no matter how many other people are around in the way. Right click, loot.
I haven’t had it matter before if people were on top of the Goblin’s body since the loot cursor is on top of everything else, usually it was just a mass of other people also trying to loot. Same deal after the soup event.
i blame blizz for being dumb you can’t say nothing else. this stuffs been going on forever then they fix it with the feast only to not do nothing for this event it’s so amusing. it gets so lagged out and nah not my computer on my server at times your lucky if you get a hit in thats why i just use my pallies throw consecration down right before it pops boom done.

its a little hard to tab target anything when ur game freezes from how many people are in one area. it would be nice if people were just more respectful.

this is advocating AGAINST tab targeting, because you could end up targeting anything which is seen as an enemy.

I dont see the problem…rare scanners pick it up so just click the frame and away you go…otherwise just use any aoe spell and you’ll tag it
Having used RareScanner, AoE Spells, Tab Targeting, pretty much all of it,
The Toys do make a difference in frame rates and connection. I have about a medium level gaming computer. 16gb ram, SSD, Ryzen 7 processor. When I’m going to one of the treasure goblin spawns, I have to set my graphics quality all the way down to 1 and zap the Render Scale down to the lowest percentage.
And even with all those precautions taken, and using the Gnoll Glasses (bc I don’t have the corgis, sadly), I have still experienced lag so bad that it caused me to miss tagging the Goblin before his death due to people using the Size changing toys, adding punching bags and every single other griefy thing they’ve been doing.
I’m fortunate to have a top tier gaming PC I custom built and gigabit fiber service to the house.
But not all players do.It’s those players that suffer the most from the trolling.
For gamers like me, it’s a nuisance. For others it can mean not getting to participate at all.
You improve community involvement by lowering the floor for participation, not raising the ceiling. I’d rather see everyone get to participate.
The good will from the players during this event has been nothing short of phenomenal so far. Freely sharing the pets, mounts, bags, everything they don’t need to anyone that hasn’t gotten them yet. Sad to see a handful of trolls being allowed to ruin it for those not on better gaming equipment.

My friend plays on an old PC and drops to 10fps when the goblin spawns and he still finds it fun to do.
The only fixing that’s needed is the terrible drop rate for the items.
I’d say a little bit of both.
I mean if you were an NPC and were gettting attacked every 30 minutes and no breaks inbetween I know I’d probally be trying to run from the mass of players coming at me all the time too.

when people would prefer to complain about people having fun in a game, instead of being a brave adult and taking it upon themselves to do things which would make it a smoother experience for themselves, it does seem to fit into your category of poor behaviour.
