Isn’t that kind of a low bar? 2000 pounds of people still doing mythic+?
You said 619 and 614 is less than 619 last time I checked. You are moving goal posts.
Hello, I see you replied to the thread. Haha, whoa, WoW players need to really get some exercise!
Thanks for your post and have a great day!
The “squish” at the end of DF clearly was a mistake.
It really seems not everyone wants to run +10s stats on a +2.
I highly doubt they are going to reverse it back on this expansion unless they really think it will create a risk for their sub numbers (maybe)
Quitters are the ones that refuse to learn. The ones that want to do challenging content without being challenged. This isn’t even a new thing, remember season 1 of dragonflight? People had no idea how to handle the upper ring of Ruby life pools before it was nerfed into the ground.
People do not have to do the challenging content if they do not want to, but if they choose to they should be expected to learn and adapt. The quicker they are at learning the less likely they are to have a miserable experience assuming the people they are playing with are on the same page as they are. At the end of the day, I won’t force you to grind gilded crests and no one should force that expectation on someone unless you are trying to play in a more hardcore environment. The cap for Crest Rises every week anyways so you’re not really missing out if you get them today or 5 weeks from now, the end result will be the same reward based upon how much time you put in and how successful you are in overcoming the obstacle.
If you don’t want to get thrashed by npcs, you’re not forced to do the content where they are that strong. You aren’t forced to get every dungeon portal, you aren’t forced to push for Gladiator mounts, you aren’t forced to raid on any difficulty if you don’t want to, you aren’t forced to clear the hardest delves. Do what you want, if you challenge yourself and succeed you get Rewards as temporary as they are, but still everyone fails until they don’t. If failure is disheartening for you, then it’s a simple as the challenge not being something you look for in the game, the solution is not to remove the Challenge from the people who do want it.
Because thats what it boils down to. OP wants the game to be made easier to acquire mythic track gear. Its in the OP
To each their own. I enjoy the m+ game play and will continue to play it. Harder or not. Get better and adapt or take your breaks. /shrug
Im enjoying it just fine while being further “behind the curve” than you.
Whats the issue with peoples mentality that just because theres more levels above where they play, they feel entitled to completing them without putting forth the effort?
I usually push with 1-2 characters and then find a happy “fun” range where the alts sit (probably about the 6-8 range currently"
And I still don’t view it as a problem.
I can only speak for myself, I’m just straight not having fun.
It’s not a matter of me not, say, being able to visualize where I need to be and the clear path to get there for Erudax, or failing to aim the hook on Stitch, or not clearing debuff on the last guy in SV, or not using defensives, or anything like that.
It’s abject cancer that I have to stand still for close to ten seconds to set up my damage in the midst of all the swirly garbage on the screen. All the cc the trash packs have knocking that even further out of whack is cancer on top of that. Not being able to actually interrupt them with hard cc like you used to be able to is another fat dollop of cancer.
I could be a god at the game, decked out in maxxed myth gear with a team of hyper lethal vectors, getting PI’d on cooldown and it would still blow chunks because of the way it was designed.
Just factually, wanting the same rewards as Dragonflight for doing the same content doesn’t seem to be asking for “free loots for logging in pls.”
In previous seasons, 75% of key runners were already never getting the vault slots now exclusively reserved for the top 10% instead.
But yeah, I’ll be taking my break and playing other games. Feels like this is bad for the game, but I’m sure Blizz has done the 4D chess on how having fewer subs is better actually.
Well, since you seem to want the details. I am loving:
- Delves
- WQs
- Follower Dungeons
- Weeklys
- LFR
- Mount farming (Bee)
- World Bosses (cause I can solo most of them)
- Crafting orders (slowed down on this one a bit)
- Pet battles - Lots to do and lots to tame
I’ve got so much to do I am working on 80 number 6 and 7 at the same time (even though the XP buff stops at #5). I do not run keys… in fact, I have not run a key since SL. I am a casual. So when I say I’m loving it, I am loving it all including loving not have to do Mythics cause my guild has 6 friends and we are all casuals.
If you look at the overall state of gaming right now, these companies literally don’t care if they implode at the moment. Look at Sony and Ubisoft for starters. Or Bethesda.
Good for you bud.
I found 16 to 18 difficult, far from easy. It is good to have middle of the road difficulties for the majority of users. We have followers difficulty for customers that want/need the easiest route. We use to have Mythic dungeons at 20+ for mythic raiders. Now the old range of difficulty of M0 to M10+ is gone. The majority of customers played in this range and is stupid to remove it.
Really not that much of a change then. Which leads to:
They’ve got the numbers. The 25% being shifted to the top 10% isn’t going to hurt. Again, why can’t people just accept they’re not as good as they think they are, and just be happy playing in the ranges that suit them?
LOL what.
Well, it was an unforgettable run it seems. xD
I’m not sure why people are afraid of dirty casuals having mythic track gear.
If you’re better at the game, you’re better at the game whether you have a massive stat advantage or not.
We settled for almost as good gear for years, but now they want their precious mythic raiders to feel even more special by only letting them have the best gear again like we’re in vanilla WoW watching the Naxx players dunk on everyone else. Maybe some of the classic devs got onto the retail team and made gearing worse?
At this point I’ve lost any real interest in WoW’s PvE gearing system. I can get hero track gear doing delves so I have no interest in lower key M+. I can’t get any mythic track gear at all besides at best one item a week from vault if I can make my way to M+10, but my friends are already hardly ever logging in and I don’t blame them so… yea. Oh well.
DF S1 was fun even if we got to near max gear and stopped. At least we actually played until we got there. Now we have no interest in doing the grind at all.
Literally who is saying this?
do you have data that backs this up? have you shared it with blizzard?
You seem a bit hostile for casual conversation. I mean, if you wanted to be competitive in this game, a human rogue would have been my last option.
You’re comparing apples to oranges since M+ is significantly different compared to past seasons.
Everyone complaining about “how hard it is to push”
