His complaint isn’t that it’s alt friendly… It’s that it’s only “alt friendly” if your goal is to skip to the end ASAP.
No, that’s actually what she specifically said.
Everyone works through the same content. There’s no reason why OP should be stuck doing content that rewards gear that is of lower quality than they already have, especially when they stated that they have enough time for M+ content.
Then they work their way up like everyone else did. Doing a +2 once a day will get you a score of 200 in less than two weeks, and a person could then parlay that into a higher score.
- OP stated that she wanted to do this content.
- This content isn’t a waste of time as it adds to your IO score.
- Not everyone wants to do M+10+, but OP stated that she did in fact want to do end game content but didn’t have the time, which is her real issue.
LOL. It’s funny how often those who don’t really understand or have no basis for their opinions invariably complain about something they themselves have done…
So, what’s the huge difference between a Waycrest +2 and a waycrest +4?
Well if they didn’t, their results would justify themselves.
That’s what they want.
I don’t put in effort, I don’t get reward.
If I do put in effort, I get the equivalent reward.
Makes sense. That is what OP is implying they want. Relevance of reward.
Oh, have they?
Makes sense. That is what OP is implying they want. Relevance of reward.
Not really, since they aren’t doing any labor. It won’t be relevant to them either way (over-geared, under-geared, adequately geared.
Yep, you don’t even know what you’re talking about…
I think it’s a European spelling of the word.
Oh, is that so?
Yes, and it’s pretty obvious at this point. I don’t blame you, it’s been a common theme in discussions like this. Your camp simply doesn’t acknowledge that there is a game before end game so any discussion regarding it leads to you continuously talking about only end game, which isn’t the point.
Did you actually read the OP? It said entry level gear venues do not give competitive leveled gear…not that there were too many ways of getting gear. This is why Blizzard is suffering. Too many tone deaf employees.
Ah, I see. Well that wasn’t the point I was making, and I never insinuated that at all. Everything you just wrote was incorrect and a waste of your own time.
I think you need to re-read the OP. The OP is arguing that they too quickly outgear (i.e. content “is very quickly not worth doing”) the content that is appropriate for them. They are asking for a smoother and longer progression curve, rather than gearing out your character in 1 week and waiting 3 months for the next patch before you see another upgrade.
There aren’t enough ways to obtain catch-up gear in BfA?
Also, Bornakk is fine, and the reason Blizzard employees are “tone deaf” is because of hostile random people.
LFR, Heroics, Unrated BG/Arenas for Conquest cap, Warfronts, even low level Mythic +'s, are very quickly worthless. A casual has to either move on to an alt, or try to push harder content when they may not have the time nor quality group members to do so (or just may not even want to).
Do you feel there are too many sources for rewards? I’m trying to understand exactly why you feel it is not casual friendly when you also list a bunch of areas that tend to be pretty accessible.
Case in point
No, Bornakk has a good point. But what do people want exactly, because you can’t slow people down, they will eat up content as fast as it’s produced and on top of that you can’t give end game quality gear for every little thing a person does. There are already avenues for players to obtain heroic level raiding gear without actually raiding, so what exactly is the issue?
You can’t experience all of the content with crappy rewards. That’s the point.
425 geared to do WQ’s… It’s not necessary.
So we agree then? Gear levels increase too quickly and easily.
Okay, you actually can. You can literally see everything the game has to offer with mediocre gear. But the game has plenty of ways of giving you the gear you need to catch-up anyways.
