Waiting for Prime Day next week to buy some Corsair peripherals. I don’t know what it is about their products I love so much. I just do.

I made it through my first few work days… to say I’m dead on my feet would be an overstatement, as I’m still able to type this somehow.
There’s awkward, and there’s the kind of awkward that happens when you introduce yourself to new a new co-worker and they tell you without preamble that they were terminated and you’re the replacement. If the ground could’ve opened at that moment…

Had a similar experience once. They asked the other person to stay on for an extra day, and show me how to do their job to the letter. Much passive aggressiveness ensued.

I’m pretty happy with my current chair; especially since it’s basically free. After buying two lemons in a row, I got the extended warranty on this one. One armrest won’t stay put (I have to tighten the screw down a couple times a month or it spins), and the covering has split in a couple spots - nothing big, but they decided to honor the warranty and send the replacement cost. I really need to spend some cash to get a great chair. Maybe next month, when I have some free cash since I’ll finally have the car paid off!!! Since it’s in pretty good condition still, I won’t need to replace it anytime soon. And that’s not normal for me. I usually replace right around the time it’s paid off. It may (or may not) have something to do with the fact that this is the first car I’ve purchased new (Thanks sis, and your employee discount!).
I’ve been the “other person” a few times. Not cool, but every time I’ve been offshored, the team I was on handled it well and professionally.

I did some quick searching. It does appear the model you strutted should light up. I’m confident that you tried everything to trouble shoot… plugged in, turned on 
etc.

That said, taking the boys to Kansas for a day. Even though only a few hours away will get a motel, as that is what Boogy is looking forward to most.

My liquid cooling system and a couple spots on my mainboard have a “smart” mode lighting set up based on the system temp. Not sure why it really matters, honestly, since the case is under the desk and I only see it when I walk into the room.
Just got home from the dog park. It’s already steamy out there. I think the rest of the day shall be spent celebrating “Stay Out of the Sun Day” and “Air Conditioning Appreciation Day.”

My husband needed a new computer. He took my old one and got me a new Digital Storm Bolt. It has quite the fancy light show. Too bad because it’s stuffed in my desk.
It’s still quiet and dry here. The aliens haven’t returned all the people they took yet. I’m kinda hoping they keep them. Is that a bad thing?
