[CS Lounge]Zereth Mortis Dance Off

About to reach the 33,000 Achievement Point mark on my main in-game! Sitting currently at 32,995 Achievement Points!

Hoping to reach the 33,000 Achievement Point mark sometime tomorrow!

Edit: Figured I would mention that the Achievement Point score here on the website is inaccurate for some reason. Some achievements I have earned don’t get counted correctly both here on the Forums and the Armory.

Watching the floor is lava on netflix and its hilarious oh my.

Off to the title company in a few minutes to sign our part of the documents. There is a chance we can close as early as tomorrow, though I doubt that will happen. I am fairly positive it will take until Friday. I say this because Friday is the 1st, and that means we pay the property tax for July haha.

However, here is to hoping

Well, we’re shifting our moving plans to… soon.

Mast, quite the timely post. A question for you recent movers, how long does the process of offer acceptance until closure?

Thanks

For us, it was only 18 days from when we first saw the house (and put offer in that day) to when we closed and moved in.

We paid cash for the house and saw it before it was listed. The sellers accepted our offer right away. Then just had to wait for lawyer to sort out the title details and the sellers to move out of house. Georgia requires a lawyer to handle real estate closures.

The process would have moved a lot faster if the sellers had been able to move out quicker.

Thanks Kyzera. I knew you went through this recently.

I appreciate the feedback. Homes we are looking at are “move in ready.” So we are kinda hoping to fast-track. We are waiting on this quarter to end with financing before getting pre-approved.

Then we have to think about 6 hour trips back and forth. And so on, and so on… just like you’ve experienced.

Hey Teuf… want to move downtown

We accepted a cash offer, so contract to close was 15 days total. That will be Friday.

Another offer i considered was a standard loan and offered a close date of 21st of July.

When we bought we went under contract early February and closed last day of March. We could have closed faster, i was trying not to pay mortgage and rent for empty home for multiple months lol

Edit. As an aside, we listed Monday afternoon and our first offer was 5k ABOVE asking. So that set our new standard. We entered contract that Thursday so we were listed less rhan 3 full days.

Thanks Mast.

In other news, the dean contacted me about the doctorate program.

And now I’m starting to think about getting into a house. My thing is, when I move, it’s going to be way north. I prefer cooler weather, snow, and a bit less urban life (at least, as long as I have a decent sized city near). So house hunting is going to be… difficult. But my next lease will be going up 10% (to $880). This place is nice, but it’s not that nice. Fortunately, I just signed my lease, so I have a year to get things done.

Hey Poctz. Come on up to da UP eh. Plenty of chill, snow and miles from “cities.” We currently have eyes upon a couple places in Gwinn and Harvey. Not too far from Marquette. Might be what you are looking for.

Well then, neighbors we may be.

Just got off the phone with the Dean. He wants to see me back in the program. He was completely unaware of the empty promises that were offered. Asked my conditions. I told him I’m not paying for this part of my education. We shall see.

OH yeah baby. Just got an email from the title company. We are closing tomorrow, a day early. This means I get my :moneybag: a day earlier than I thought. More importantly though, it means I don’t have to pay the property tax for July…Its the little things ya know?

I am so happy right now.

Now I need to get serious about building a monster computer that will last me for many many years to come.

Im surprised that social contract ? hasnt been closed by now its just going in circles at this point.

Best of luck with getting your new computer up and going!

I was able to get mine built today when my son came down to visit.

It is a whole new experience in the game right now with having used that tiny laptop for last 6 years. This is gonna take a bit of adjustment.

I am still trying to get everything updated and configured.

Hmm, think I still need to adjust monitor or GPU settings. The pink/purple tones just seem way too saturated and vibrant.

Of course, a lot of the colors seem very saturated.

Maybe it is supposed to be like this and I was never able to see it before.
