Me too. Didn’t get enough sleep and now all day I’ve felt like a 45 being played at 33-1/3. And that’s after finishing a Monster.
Dooooo iiiiit!

I would have to convince her to leave the child here with me I think. Although I suppose I COULD bring my laptop to their house and actually visit them. I just rarely drive and they don’t live close.
If I did, it would be on an account set up for her with Parental Controls turned on and all chat OFF. Not exposing child to the wider community. Nobody needs that.

Good morning everyone.
/takes a cup of coffee and a donut to get through the day.
Technically, it is 2 days till Christmas for me, but I am just in the future, so I thought to post 3 days for all those in the US and Canada.
What about Europia?
Me too, only I’m the donut with week old glaze that has melted away into the dough and made it soggy. Been up all weekend thanks to ye ol’ CellCept again. I’m sure if I play some D4 it’ll lull me to sleep (this season is just awful and makes the game feel like D3 vanilla). Reeeeeeally wish I could play WoW again. But without a macOS system capable of playing it I lack the accessibility options I had on that OS since the built in controller functionality doesn’t allow for hybrid KB/M + controller use like I could achieve in macOS.
Oy vey…while I was typing that last sentence we had a rather noticeable earthquake. Time to hit up USGS…
Edit: And now I know why it was so noticeable. Right around six miles from here.
had an interesting instant karma moment at work this morning… had a guest come in demanding a key for his room (work in a hotel). Now this guy wasn’t registered to any room and without confirmation from the company, i wasn’t going to just hand over a key… so while this guy is having a tantrum, im calling the company to verify he is indeed supposed to be checking into a shared room. The supervisor for this company used to be a security guard for my hotel and she can hear this dude just going off , because i dared to not just take his word for it and give him a key to a room he was not registered to. anyways after this guest is confirmed and has gone to his room, i get a message from the supervisor asking for a report in writing about how rude he was as that kind of behaviour is grounds for termination…morel of the story: don’t be rude to workers just doing their job or it may end up costing you yours haha
Reminds me of some tik tok videos.
It’s cold around these parts. Temp was -2 F when I got up to take the dog out. The usual morning walk was not happening!
Spend the early afternoon making chocolate peanut clusters. Tasty. And while we were doing that, we saw two different pileated woodpeckers. So we have a pair of them (at least). They’re such an awesome bird to see.
And whoever set up the holiday stag hunter pet did a great job. Instanced, so you aren’t fighting a bunch of other hunters, the dungeon is low enough level to make it easy for most anyone to stroll in, tame it, and get out without much fuss.
Well, he was definitely sautéd…
In butter with a hint of garlic.
People in Australia get Santa visit first, because he gets a cold beer and carrots for his reindeer. This is what Google told me.
New Zealand gets Santa before us Aussies.
And 40ºC+ temps. It’s batsnot insanely hot there right now. TubbyRosa wouldn’t be chugging a beer in that sweltering heat.
“On Christmas Eve, children leave out carrots for his reindeer, along with a beer and some pineapple chunks for Santa himself.”
Wonder if New Zealand beer is better than Australian beer.
I wouldn’t know. I don’t drink beer.
Here i thot it was vegamite for santa in au.
