I usually like a moderate level of spice, but right now my head is so stuffy, maybe I should have a little more.
I bought (on the Internet’s recommendation) some spicy chili crisp and I don’t really like it. As far as I can tell, the “crispy” part is stiff dried pepper skins, which I just find unpleasant and inedible. Of course they have helped to flavor the oil, but if I were making this I’d let it sit for flavor, then strain it. (Next time I probably will make my own!) But I could sure dip out some of the oil and add that to soup.
I can never make coffee right. It always tastes like sewer water and despair when I make it. I’ve never gone wrong with Mocha/Cappacinos though. But I rarely drink any of these anyway as I don’t want to keel over from hypertension at the age of 40. I don’t know how people drink all that caffeine everyday.
So I got an Amazon gift card in my stocking and decided to splurge on some Uggs house shoes. I never thought I would own anything by that brand but I have to say they are suuuuper comfy, with a furry interior. They run small so I had to get size 15 but that’s ok. I’ve been wanting some nice house shoes for a while
Love mine, too! I got one, figured out it made great coffee, so I got one for my sister. Turns out her husband’s family got them one earlier that year. So, now I have an Aeropress, a packable Aeropress with my camping gear, and an Aeropress waiting for a home.
And you’re right - you just can’t go wrong with it. Between that and my Chemex (when I need to make more than just one cup of coffee), I’m all set. And I can’t do wrong with my Chemex, either.
I use a standard Bodum French Press. Very hard to screw up! I only have one cup of coffee usually so I have the little one that makes just one mug. The bigger two person one stays packed away.
I completed it after the event ended, so I knew that was possible, but didn’t know if you’d still be able to get the title. So that’s good for people who didn’t get that yet.
I don’t like coffee but I have tea sometimes. I bought an instant bubble tea kit on markdown, and when I got home I checked the ingredient list and the “milk” tea is made with non-dairy creamer. It’s also matcha, which isn’t my favorite tea, but when you shop on the markdown shelf you don’t get all the options.
So I am tempted to throw out the tea mix entirely and make my own tea with real milk - or even half and half, which I don’t normally keep but happen to have leftover from Christmas - and only use the boba from the kit.
A silver one I received for my hatchingday many years ago, and a larger blue-and-pink one I usually use for cold brew. It also comes out of hiding whenever I have a few guests – just a small enough group where I don’t need to make a huge pot of coffee.
