I don’t buy them, but have been behind a buyer - now they just flip it over for a microsecond and then hand it to you.
I like those too, even if I did break a tooth on one once. (It was a baby tooth that was ready to fall out.) Which tells you how long those have been around, since my baby tooth days are decades behind me now.
My usual is a chocolate dipped chocolate cone, even though it is basically impossible to eat those without making a mess, especially if you’re trying to drive with the other hand and most of your attention.
20 isn’t that bad but that’s very humid - and that’s coming from someone who lived in Houston for 20 years. It’s about -17c where I am, and my skin is so dry that [redacted, decided it was too icky]. Would gladly trade you some cold and dry for your warm(ish) and damp!
[Edited typo.]
It is very humid. The humidity is very good in winter, because it helps with preventing snow here, but it is just bad for the summer, because it just makes everything feel like needing to have 50 showers an hour.
In Houston summers, you get a lot of afternoon rain showers (although not like south Florida, where you can about set your watch by them). So it’s 95 degrees (35c) and the sun comes back out and the wet ground is almost steaming - it’s almost like being in a sauna. In winter you just get cold rain. It rarely drops below freezing, but 40 degree (about 5c) rain is plenty cold enough to be unpleasant. Snow is actually nicer, IMO.
Temperatures are actually quite different, and it depends on the part of the area, since Sydney is quite large. Like, you got Sydney, and you got Western Sydney. Basically 2 regions of all of greater Sydney. Sydney, where I am, is near the coast, and while the humidity is always humid no matter where, being near the coast keeps the temperatures lower, where areas around Western Sydney could see way higher temperatures.
It could be a 30C day in the city, the west would be into the 40’s.
I have not been to a DQ in probably 20 years. I really really don’t go out much, and don’t buy much when out.
Way back when, before DQ had Blizzard’s my grandfather used to take us to a DQ once in a while for ice cream. We did not visit them often so it was a special treat. Soft serve vanilla with rainbow sprinkles. I STILL order that at soft serve places if I am at one, even though I don’t actually really like the taste of the sprinkles. They are meh. Just interesting colors. I traditionally get one at the National Zoo too. It has been more than 10 years since I was there, maybe closer to 20.
Weird. Winter Veil should be over - Greatfather Winter and the vendors are gone - but there are still some revelers in Orgrimmar and I got a ride to Alterac even though the Greench is no longer there.
