I’m picky when it comes to store mounts.
I want a brutosaur, but minus all the bells and whistles.
I want an auction house mount, but I don’t want it to be mega, super, gigantia, big.

Being able to get back to work, even part time, is great. It (probably) gets you out of the house, gives you something to do, and gets you interacting with people some.
And while I absolutely love work from home, being able to get out and talk to even a few people every now and then is great for my mental health. I mean, I talk to myself and my dog all the time, but having others to talk to is so mentally stimulating.
Grats!!
So jelly!
Same. I probably would have bought it anyway if it’d been $20, but I would have been mildly annoyed every time I used it, just like I am with the yak.
I’ve had the Yak for years and it served me well, despite having to download addons to mute the Grummles on it and the mount itself.
I am now much happier with the compact (and quiet) Grizzly Hills Packmaster mount, especially since it is sans NPCs.
They have a bear mount in shop that’s a transmog/repair. Smaller then yak, but not half price since it’s new. Maybe winter veil 2025 mounts that are less then a year old don’t get discounted same with mogs.
It’s less bulky.
Yeah, fully agree with that. I worked from home when COVID first started, and initially it sounded great. In practice, it was real isolating which isn’t always bad, but you get to know your coworkers and it’s not quite the same staring at a Teams window instead of, well, eye to eye.
Think that will help a good deal.
I was in an office when COVID started, got laid off, then started with my current job. My boss and the other employees are in California, so I never see them anyway. But yeah, it was nice to be able to interact with people.
Even if I didn’t.
Glad you are paying attention and tracking the impact of your meds. I know how hard that is right now. Fingers crossed you can get back to work soon so you can feel accomplished.
/refills all the refreshments on the CS table.
Something tells me people are going to need it.

I would like to partake of certain beverages, but unfortunately just had to hit my pain meds (not having a good night in that regard).

I have been at home for years. Online interactions are the majority of what I get aside from hubby and occasional visits to friends or other family.
Now with being stuck at home due to the surgery, the isolation is starting to wear on me. Hopefully soon I can return to driving myself around and can visit people more often.
Happy it worked out! That was my biggest fear because my job at the time, even though it was pretty busy, was an hourly position. It was an IT position responsible for college classrooms as well as students and faculty devices.
Was a bit spooky since not being there cut a lot of our responsibilities, and now we were to help people over Teams/Skype. It was messy, but kinda panned out in the end.
Made it a point to do that. I noticed I felt more…angry as of late? Just angry at the world, myself, and doing what I can to not vocalize it.
And yeah, it’s always great to feel like you did a job well done. Got that feeling when I was able to do some household stuff again, sure will feel great to be back in the work force after being bedridden for a good while.

Signed bilgewater cartel.
Hopefully won’t be waiting too much longer.
This right here is just facts.
Halfway through my methyleprednisolone therapy. It’s definitely making it easier to breathe, though I still get out of breath from exertion rather quickly. Not looking forward to telling my rheumatologist that this is making me feel better on my right side because she may end up putting me on long term prednisone, and I can barely keep a stable weight as it is. I may ask her to see if she’s able to prescribe one of the weight loss drugs to help counter the prednisone. I’m gonna need it - I gained four pounds in two days due to water weight gain (sodium/water retention).
At least for the short term I can sleep on my right side easier.
Gus looks comfy and happy.
