That’s a beautiful looking laptop Mirasol! I just got a gaming laptop last year for my wife and it plays better than my desktop (which is still fairly new).
We ended up getting her a cooling pad as it got so hot the fans would run at warp-speed! It made a huge difference and keeps her machine whisper quiet. This is the one we got:

I have a Cooler Master with a full time running fan on it. Have had it for years and I think that is why my 2013 Alienware has held up for so long.
I plan to keep using it, but if it dies I will be looking for a new one. Appreciate the recommendation! From a quick look it does not have any USB ports on it 
Mine has extra USB on the pad which I like. I can use it to charge things, connect an external drive, use my USB mouse, etc.

I found the perfect crown for the false Gnome Queen. Those paper ones from the Burger King kid’s meal. Should fit perfectly and is just as likely to blow away with the wind as it’s wearer.

I have already gone though a cooler of cold water and it’s not even noon yet. The local street people come by from time to time for a cold bottle of water, and I keep a cooler by the door for that reason.
Might do some urban “underground fighter” and open up a hydrant or two to let the kids cool off a bit in the neighborhood. The only pool in town is across the city in the affluent area and they charge a lot just to enter. There are a few city water “parks” but hard to get to if you don’t own a car.
We had a package marked as delivered the other day as well — but not at our house.
Call Fedex and they say to look at neighbors’ houses. We look at ones right by us and find nothing. So Fedex says wait a few days and then file report. Hubby decides to expand search and finally finds it a few houses down (at ??38 instead of our ??58).
I like it better when the Walmart employees deliver their own packages, because at least they take pics of it.

In other news, we are about to float away over here. Ground is OVERsaturated from the daily downpours we’ve had over last week or so. We are forecast for at least another week and half of this!
I need ground to dry so that tree can be cut down - which in turn is holding up our fence being built.
We are having a generator installed but worrying about the propane truck sinking in the yard with how wet it is. But we really need it done soon since power blinks off every day from these storms. Hoping it can be done before hurricane season ramps up.
I had one of those go terribly wrong the other day. Walmart used Uber to deliver packages. I was watching for it (printer ink so not cheap) and it said delivered. Picture verified it was NOT my porch, and I checked the one remotely similar house on the street. Not there either. Called and got a refund same day. Walmart then called me as part of an investigation and it seems the same driver took 4 packages that day - and screwed up several. I was not the only one. First time I had any issues with them at all! Normally Walmart is fantastic.
There’s porch camera footage of FedEx and UPS drivers picking up the package after taking the picture. It happens all the time.
My goal is to be on the porch when they walk up. I am sitting on the couch right by the door with a window I can see the porch from. I can also hear any cars/trucks on my little street.
I am having a random spawn of my new headset and mouse today. It was supposed to come next week.
Due to the monitor attached to the orders i had it all delivered to work. So of course they choose to deliver these 2 items, even though i said do it all together, early and arrive on my day off. Oh well. I will have employees put it in office til tomorrow.
I’m waiting for some new scrubs to come in, at least I can spawncamp the door today since I’m home from work with a stomach bug.
Need to get my laptop fixed too, fell off my nighstand Tuesday and broke my headphone cable and the internal port, so sound only works if I wiggle the cable and pray to the Omnissiah.
My Laptop has spawned! Loot for me! Box intact, all parts here. Charging as it should.

Steak for dinner tonight - sous vide, so the perfect doneness, and then a quick finish on the grill. Some potatoes and a bit of fresh broccoli, and apple crisp for dessert.
4 cups sliced apples
Topping
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup quick oatmeal
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
Preheat oven to 375.
Place apples in 2 qt casserole (greased). Mix the brown sugar, flour, oatmeal, cinnamon, and butter all together and sprinkle over apples. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
I’ve started using the Amazon lockers when that is an option.
Edit - Just checked my outstanding orders and realized I forgot to change the shipping address for the Galaxy watch I ordered in the last moments of Prime Day, so that may be going to my porch.

Yep, it’s definitely being delivered to the house; the only way to change the delivery address is to cancel the order. At least I’m off that day.

That being said, Sire Denathrius could have been sooo much more. Blizzard could have gone the old classic Castle Ravenloft with him. The players can only defeat his plans, and if he actually showed up, he would obliterate the players in a heartbeat. You wouldn’t want to be the target of Daddy D attention.
