There was this fantastic coffee shop that was a small local chain back when I used to live at the beach. They made their own donuts in-house. They didn’t pipe their fillings. They sliced them in half and then stacked them with frosting or fruit or anything else - these things were freaking huge. The frosting stuffed one was pure sugar, like that glorious too-sweet, thick and heavy frosting. Then they’d roll it in powdered sugar. One of those babies and their double caff and you were seeing sounds and hearing colors between the sugar high and caffeine fix.

Noticed something weird and new and oddly a good thing in game earlier today that I have not seen before. Anima now takes no bag space, but you still need to click the buttons to add it to your covenant.

I feel like i am getting into better place again slowly. Things are fun, i feel optimistic at times. And i have a date Thursday night. Excited about that one.

Well, my small freezer in the laundry room is so frosty that the turkey barely fits. So tomorrow the turkey comes out and the freezer gets dragged outside to melt. All the small packages need to get crammed into the main freezer. Looks like we are having a Thanksgiving dinner next week. A few days of thawing and a day of brining and it’s a feast!

Huh. I made $20 on my lunchtime walk today. Just moseying along, looking around, saw something on the ground. It definitely got chewed up by the lawn mower, but it’s about 90%. Next time I swing by the bank I’ll swap it for something that won’t get me as many weird looks when I try to spend it.
While I was Up North last week, I snagged the important stuff: Pickled bologna, some local cheese, maple syrup, and a couple 2-liters of Cherry Vernor’s. I looked all over the place, nobody had any cans 
. The only problem I have with it is that I tend to inhale as I sip, and nearly always start a coughing fit. Worth it, though.

Finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
Today was the fitting for my crowns and tomorrow will be the permanent placement of them.
Then hopefully I can go home. 
Cancun is nice (well what I get to see of it anyways-- airport, hotel, & clinic is all, lol) and everyone has been awesome, but I miss my fur babies and my home.

Dad was the grocery shopper when I was growing up. You could send him for a gallon of milk, and he would take 45 minutes. It’s a small town, the grocery store is maybe five minutes away. But because it’s a small town, you know everyone, so he would have to stop and chat with them all.

Managed to get a good deal on a new printer. I can’t remember who it was that wished me luck when I got my last printer, a Brother, but they were 110% right. I’ll never buy another Brother printer again.
Taking my son to see Thor Love and Thunder today too. He’s super excited about the movie…I’m excited for the popcorn
