Kiddo has dr appointment today. Then i go skopping for a new outfit for my date tonight. I really dug her, known her for about a year or so, and want it to go well.

My ex ised to get mad.at how i ate popcorn. She thinks otnis normal to est ot one piece at a time.
Please agree with me that that is an insane way to eat it. Grab a handful throw some in, chomp ot, rinse and repeat. Not one at a time.

I like my butter layered (some at the half way mark and more on top) and even then I sometimes add a little more.

The theatre I’m headed to basically uses paper bags basically. Big ones, but still.
Hehe the theatwr i go has bags for small amd.medi7m and a round tub, much like.Red Vines used to come in when you bought the large container for a large.
Dont forget your popcorn toppers. Partial to ranch and nacho cheese flavors myself.

So it’s been awhile, just wanted to say hi and that I am still alive. Our oldest daughter tried to give us all heart attacks last week. They had what the doctor labeled a deadly asthma attack, and was in lung failure. The hospital had to intubate them and give them a chemical paralytic and induce a coma. They were touch and go for a couple days, but was able to pull through and is currently back home feeling a ton better.
The moral of the story is, don’t have kids; kids.

They seems to be themself now, still a bit weak and walking is a bit of a chore, but they go back to work on Monday. They got hired as a teaching assistant and is loving it.

I would say it has been fun, but we both know that is a lie. Almost missed our flight to Jax cause of all the craziness we had to deal with.
Arrival gate so far from departure gate. But first you have to wait for tram to take you to Passport Control so you can spend forever in that line. Then have to go back downstairs to claim your bag just to turn around and give it a bag checker 10 foot away. Then continuing running down concourse to go back thru TSA checkpoint. Then run like heck to end of concourse to reach your gate while the gate agents are announcing last call.
We were so out of breath that stewardess brought us cups of water and wet cloths once we sat down.

Thankfully, it is a short flight to Jax and we are preparing to land now. Then it is just a skip across state line into Georgia and we should be home. in couple of hours.

What a great day. I parented a child, I adulted by doing laundry. Even put last weeks laundry up…ish.
Then had a spectacular night with my date. We went to a place called Nolas. It is authentic New Orleans cuisine, and it was delicious. Then we got to the play early, so went a few blocks to the park and just sat and talked. I learned that apparently Tulsa has The Center of the Universe. Things that make you go hmmmm
Pretty Woman was a phenomenal show, we both had a blast. Just dropped her off, and now I am home. My work alarm will go off in less than 5 hours, and tomorrow is going to suck. There is no way around that. And it was totally worth it.

Back at the end of June, I was involved in a “minor” parking lot accident, where someone opened a car door as I was backing into a parking space. So I got a bit of a door ding. The other driver said they were going out of the country for a month, so I’ve been (not very) patiently waiting for everything to get worked out between the insurance companies. Since it’s taking so long, I decided to just get the repairs done through my insurance and sort things out later if I was found not-at-fault. I finally got a call yesterday saying the other insurance was accepting liability. So I won’t see a rate increase, and I don’t have to pay a deductible.
