Unfortunately i tend to give indegestion i feel sorry for the next adventurer.
Noticed this today when I was in Oribos, between the Maldraxxis and Kyrian Waygates, and new swirly realm appeared. Something coming down the road?
Papa V. I guessed the Hustler. Yay. I finally got one.
Local temp is currently -16°F (-27°C) with a wind chill of -31° (-35°). The forecast says it’ll warm up to -6° (-21°).
Going back to bed now.
Yeah. We’re going to hit a whopping 3 today, with wind chills around -25. Taking the dog out to do her “business” means bundling up with heavy coat, hat, mittens, and face protection.
My daily walking goal is set at 15,000 steps. Didn’t even make it to 6000 yesterday, and I’ve only managed some short walks since about Wednesday. So little Miss High Energy is starting to drive me crazy. I wish there was an indoor dog park in the area. We’ve been playing indoor games, with a ball and some puzzles, as well as scent games, which helps a bit.
Iceeeeee everywhere
I’ll take it. That means it’s not as cold there as it is here. It’s currently snowing, and we’re supposed to get 2-4 inches. And since the snow is about the consistency of volcanic ash, it’s going to have to snow A LOT.
It’s currently in the 20s, but is supposed to drop below 10. Supposed to snow today but we’ve just been getting ice. Everything has been covered over since Thursday…
Texas doesn’t know how to handle this
Yeah, that’s not cool (no pun intended). Starts pulling on power lines, tree branches, and since people never get to practice*, they can’t drive on ice. Hope you have enough groceries to stay home for a few more days.
* Side note - when I was growing up, we used to drive on lakes around this time of year to get practice driving on ice. Lots of fun, and reasonably safe. And I saw a picture the other day of Lake Superior near Marquette - the ice was glass-like.
Yea, there have been some power issues both due to lines down and just strain on the grid. And people panic shopping, even though it’s only going to be a couple of days like this.
Burger patties infused with diced bacon.
Yay or Nah?
Instantly makes any non-yes answer invalid (/ms), IMO. Bacon is life!
Not invalidating those that practice veganism, vegetarianism, or just don’t like pork!
No one can drive on ice. You just pretend to be driving. It’s mostly point the car in the direction you want to go and hope it works. Stopping is a totally different story. I’ve done my share and prefer to just stay home now.
If I were to open a burger place it would be burgers like that and no fries. Fries are just a cheap filler and likely more unhealthy then any burger could be.
I’d also tell people to sauce it themselves.
Did that one time. The Lake Effect Snow Machine™ was doing its thing, I was driving down a hill toward a traffic light at the bottom in a light truck. And blew through the red, brakes locked.
And down here is worse - they don’t get to practice that much, and already think they’re invincible, so tons of preventable accidents. I stay home even more than normal.
Bacon infused beef patty, bun, a few cheese options, wrap in paper
Charge per patty with a bit extra if cheese is used.
You forgot to add bacon.
If I figure out how to do a bacon-weave pita pocket…
Skip the dishes from corras eggs benidict with pea meal back. FYI Trailer for the snyder cut is out with the joke in it.
