Well I’ve been in the bed off and on for the past few days with only being up for maybe an hour or so and then back to bed again; And when I wake up and start moving around I ache all over and feel weak. The thing is I’ve been trying to nail down what is causing it and tonight I believe I have,

It’s called Fibromyalgia Syndrome and it fits all of my symptoms perfectly, The below says a lot about this Syndrome.

 .Very common (More than 3 million cases per year in US)

 .Diagnosis doesn't require lab test or imaging

 .No known cure, treatments available

 .Can be lifelong

The exact cause is not known. It may be due to infection, genetics, or trauma & stress. Symptoms include widespread pain, fatigue, cognitive difficulties. Treatment includes medication and lifestyle changes.

I know what is causing it now too; I went through this same thing when I was taking care of my Father from the stroke he had rendering him paralyzed on his left side; Now I’m caring for my Mother in her last days and I believe the stress from taking care of her, My Moderately Bi-Polar Deaf Sister (Going to court to get guardianship transferred from Mom to me) & My Chinese wife who I’ve been trying to help her learn English; She already knew quite a bit but has grown in her vocabulary tremendously over the past few years and has finally landed her a job, It’s not much but it’s a start.

I’ve just got too much on my plate right now and I believe that is what has caused this syndrome to flair up.

Of course I have a doctors appointment March 2nd to verify this is my condition and run additional tests as he deems necessary.

I will know then.

I’m pretty sure my free time with the weekend deal will soon be up. I need to bow out of all the GD shenanigans for now. The stupid is starting to numb the senses.

I’m always leery of self-diagnoses arrived at as the result of internet research. 95% of the time, you’ll discover you have cancer. Doesn’t matter what symptoms are presenting, it’s cancer. Runny nose, sore throat and cough? Probably cancer.

It’s this reason why doctors cannot diagnose themselves. Of course that doesn’t stop them from finding a friend that will lie on paper so that they can get a handicap placard for their vehicles.

The nurses and the docs at my hospital said that the only real good out of looking up symptoms is for finding out if it is bad enough that you should go to the ER right away. There are nurse hotlines run by some insurance companies that can help with that though.

I guess I will find out when the tests are run; No runny nose sore throat or cough so maybe it’s not the big “C”. If it is oh well it’s been a good ride.

Wouldn’t it be awesome for Duke and Gonzaga to go against each other again this year only this time for Duke to come out the winner?

I pull for any of the teams from North Carolina (Being born and raised here) but I’ve always liked Duke over all the rest. (The best doctor I had graduated from Duke and has out diagnosed all of the other doctors I have ever had) My father was a N.C. State fan and one of my best friends was a UNC Tarheel fan so we always were going at each other…LOL.

The neighbor I have ferrying around got herself a new car. I was on call this morning just in case her car didn’t start, but it’s all good now. Off the hook now.

It seems I still have some residual time on my account as I can still post on General Discussion without a subscription or game time. Or is it that pesky bug?

Pobably a bug. I know I got to trust level 3 without a subscription although I have since used a token. I’ve also seen people claiming they can post without a subscription.
