We have them around here too; Awesome to see a female carrying all her babies on her back.
I actually saw a Geico and a wolf spider battle once, It was cool, The wolf spider raised his front legs up and pointed the fangs toward the Geico and as the Geico stalked the spider the spider would follow his every move and then suddenly the Geico pounced on the spider and they rolled around on the concrete floor in a ball and then the Geico would let go and stalk again and pounced once more however the Geico finally gave up and walked away; I’ve never seen anything like it, It was awesome to watch.

This was in the daytime but I know what you mean, When I was around 10 we had a tropical system come through and it flooded the swamp a few hundred feet from the house and these swamp spiders (One’s that walk on water) came in the house and you could see their eyes glowing in the dark, Really eerie looking.

My kinder teacher read it to us for story time, back when I was about 5 or 6.

I read The Hobbit in 1966, read The Lord of the Ring the first time (have reread both several times over the years) in 1967. Didn’t read The Silmarillion until 1971.
Good Morning all! I had a rough night trying to sleep. Need to take a neighbor to her doctor appointment then it’s back home to bed.
Same. Got hit with a coughing fit around midnight. Lasted almost 2 hours on and off. Went to couch as to not disturb the wife.
Sitting in doctor’s waiting room currently to see what might be able to be done or best course of action.
So we’re starting our day with monkey business?

Oh yeah! Not back yet!
…and it changed toons on me.
So wife has the itus. I have the itus. Of bronk nature. Think our eldest has it now too. Could not get him into his doc, so we are at urgent care. He is running a fever. He has a history of asthma, so we did not want to mess around. Wanted to grt him in and seen. If we need a rescue inhaler or meds for his nebulizer I want them now, not later.

If you roast them with a little salt and butter, Gnomes are…oh wait…
Try some popcorn instead

Gnomes don’t need much if any salt.
Not like they are pre-processed food like something from the frozen isle. They’re mechanically inclined if that makes sense.
Ask Bug or Moo what they want?
