Woke up at 2:30am, did some painting while listening to my nephews game stream. Not a whole lot to do today, kinda anti climatic after the past week.
Do the shopping first. You won’t have time if you are stuck in line-ups for the rides. At least that was the suggestion from an article I read.

Once the reservation periods end the dynamic of the land will change. Some of the strats might change too.
I’m excited and nervous at the same time. This Thursday, my parents are flying me up to Salt Lake City so we can have a weekend at this park called Evermore–it’s like larping and a Renaissance festival all in one. We’re all really looking forward to it, but… I have to leave Blake behind, and I don’t know how she’ll handle it. :c
I’d decided to board her rather than just leave her at home. But it’s been more than six months since she’d been housed with other cats, or other animals period, so I don’t know how she’s going to take it. I don’t think she even remembers the shelter.

An alternative, do you have a friend you can trust to feed and cuddle on her a few times a day?

Lil bugger Nana needs some help today. So she brought breakfast. He was at summer school, so she brought hin a gift card. So we on li e at the drive through.
And it made that chhhhh sound and a weird test pattern.

Did you find the coffee yet, or did you wake up first?
Need to find a solution to my dads coffee issues. He can’t drink coffee anymore due to it upsetting his stomach, and he LOVES his coffee. I’m thinking it’s the caffeine.

I wonder if Iced Coffee would work. He could get a very similar flavor, but hopefully without upsetting his stomach.
As for me, Burgers and curly fries for dinner tonight. Nice and easy. Nice and delicious.
My staff knows every time I have to open ground beef at work, I will make myself a burger. They have started to ask me to make them one as well when I do it haha. Some of the nursing staff will walk by and ask where theirs is. They are not joking, they want me to make them one

Took the brisket out of the brine, and now started to boil it. Doesn’t look like much, but it will be ready in about 3 hours.
The stuff floating is a little of the brine and pickling spice

Not someone who can come multiple times a day, I’m afraid. I did have a friend who was willing to stop by after work, but couldn’t make it up beforehand, so she would only get fed once a day too. This way is better for her overall, but it’ll be the first time since I adopted her that I’m leaving her for so long.

My mouth is watering just looking at that Thundertotem!
I remember when I was a child we would drive through Mt. Olive, N.C. (on the way to carry and pick up my deaf sister who attended school at the Wilson, N.C. school for the deaf) and they had these huge wooden barrel type vats that sit along the side of the road and My Father telling me that was were they made all types of pickles, anyway I thought it was cool to see just how they mass produced the pickles.

My late best friend every year would make sauerkraut every year and would boil up some with red hot sausage links; My mouth is watering just thinking about those days.
