My last laptop, the “w” key broke. So for WoW, I learned to move forward with my mouse and for typing, I had the “w” copied, so I could just paste it. Then, the “e” went with it. I had to memorize the Alt code.
Since I was out of tricks and couldn’t really lose a third key, I bought a new laptop.

I have the same issue with the keys wearing out as well on the laptop so I decided when it happened on my new one again to purchase an USB keyboard and put it over the laptop one.

My moving experience:
I reserved my U-Haul truck two weeks ago. They called on Friday, saying they didn’t have a truck available in town, but there was one about an hour away. Not ideal at all, but I guess I’ll have to do it. I called again Saturday morning just to check, and they had a truck scheduled for a local move in the afternoon they gave me. Of course it was out of gas, so $130 later, I’m ready to get to work.
It was a pretty hot day, not ideal for loading a truck. But it got loaded, I picked my buddy up from the airport (he was driving my car up and helping with the big stuff). On the road by 3, stopped outside of Chicago and stayed at a friend’s for the night, then up to Central Michigan. We got the truck unloaded and almost to the drop-off point before it started RAINING.
Today and tomorrow are relaxing and unpacking some stuff (and figuring what I need to get out of the storage unit), and getting stuff set up for working.
I am so glad I’m back in Michigan (and done with that ridiculous drive). Now I just need to start looking for somewhere to live that doesn’t involve my mother.

Agreed! I’ve been having to water all my plants, and even my trees were getting stressed!
I’m very happy about the rain we’re getting…though we’ve had a few scary warnings about potential funnel clouds and extremely high winds of 140+kph / 87mph!!
Had a newborn visitor on my back patio today. lol

We have urban herds here. We get fawns in our back yard every year now. The herds expanded during lock-down. It’s hard to have a flower/food garden because they eat just about everything.
