Yeti just released a 12" cast iron skillet. For $400.
For comparison, a Lodge cast iron pan is $30.

Sheesh.
I’ve had my lodge pan for 30+ years. I think the one my mom gave me is from her mom.
I will say, it looks thinner, which would mean it is probably a good deal lighter. I’ll let folks with extra cash in their kitchen budget for such things experiment.

that’s honestly not a bad idea boss. let them spend their money on something expensive and if its great, fine. if not, hey at least you didn’t waste the money finding out.

makes me want to make my pasta dish again soon. though with this heat, i’m debating whether its a wise idea to turn the oven on. 
i may opt to just do a stove top version of it, rather than bake it in the oven. see if there’s any real difference, but if i have the stuff i need to make it and its a fairly cool day, i may consider it.
just gotta wait till i get the extra funds first.
