Silly fox its realy thursday you have just been stuck in a timeloop for a couple of days.

Funnily enough I read a really great HP fanfic recently regarding something like that. It was like a Groundhog Day-esque time loop.

I thought every day of 2020 was just another version of Monday now :frowning:

“what’s today?”
“Tuesday.”
“Really? Feels like Thursday to me.”
“Thursday has no feel! Mondays have a feel…Fridays have a feel…Sundays have a feel.”
“I feel Tuesdays and Thursdays.”

And then there are the days that are just a Monday masquerading as that day.

inc mundane WoW mutterings:

i wouldn’t mind getting that Chowdown trophy honestly…though with rng the way it is, its proving to be extremely difficult. and unless i find 3 others to sit with me and intentionally throw the match every 3 mins or so…yeah, i may just opt to farming tokens for some stuff i didn’t get over the years, or for Brew of the Month memberships on new alts.

Get on that NOW. Even if you don’t drive the extra off, you can slow things down. Perfect time, too - it’s cooler, so an early evening walk is great. I’ve actually lost weight since the lockdown. It’s been easier to get out and walk since I’m home all the time. And I don’t go out to eat nearly as much as I used to, so that helps.

It’s been too long since they’ve been in the playoffs. But they’re going to need to spend a bunch of money to get some people in there that can make it happen, and I’m not sure that can happen this year.

On the playoffs note, my (Australian Rules) Footy team made it to the playoffs! First time in 9 years, but let’s not talk about how long it’s been since they’ve won it all (a little better than the Lions, but not much). Not sure how far they’ll get, but here’s to hoping!

Sacrifice for the greater good!

Definitely! And it’s mine, all mine. My brother doesn’t eat cheesecake and my mother can’t (wheat allergy). So I will have to eat it. :cake:

Man. Been in a mood since yesterday. Told my boss today not to send any help my way, me and another would handle it let them have 6 people in the main kitchen. When asked why, I stated because I am in no mood to hold my tongue and you will likely suspend me by the time I am done at best. If I start, I will NOT be able to stop myself.

Her response? Who said I want you to stop? LOLOL

Send that up this way please. We need it to put out fires and get the smoke out of the sky.

As for a Monday, I somehow managed to dodge getting a phone call from my dentist asking me to go pick up the floppy drive so I can go in and fix the CT machine, so for the first time in forever I actually got my birthday wish.

I’ve spent more time in my dentist’s office the last three months than I’ve gone to one throughout the rest of my life. I’m waiting to be the guinea pig for the first scan on his new iTero 3D intraoral scanner. If I’ve got a cavity it’s supposed to find it without the poking (and pain) from the scaler the hygienist uses. We shall see.

Where’d you move to anyway? I can’t imagine you’re enjoying the commute much (at least you won’t be once normal working routines are restored).

Now this is a task I wouldn’t mind undertaking…

If Amazon got that floppy drive in as quickly as it did the first (defective) one, my Tuesday will look juuuuuuuust like that one…

It’s depressing to see just how much of Babylon 5 season 2, 3, and 4 mashed up = 2020 here in the US. Unfortunately we haven’t gotten to either the Shadow War or Endgame yet IRL. Not looking forward to when they happen.

It better be nicer, for $38,000 + $375/mo. in fees. The stand is quite nice too. And despite me helping my dentist assemble the unit, it can be put together by just one person despite the primary stand and wheels weighing more than most high end home theater receivers. Our only gripe is that the USB connection on the machine is proprietary, meaning should someone manage to break the cord, it’s going to be a very expensive replacement. But we’re hoping the solid construction will make sure that never happens.

Hope it wasnt from ikea or walmart it wont last then

Heh. If it were from Ikea I wouldn’t have been able to put it together. And the total unit weight is quite heavy since it has the solid stand, wheel base, AIO computer w/ touchscreen, and not one but two rather hefty batteries inside (so you can wheel it around the office and not be tethered to just the wall plug). Speaking of that plug, the cord that comes with the stand is of a much, much heavier duty construction than some of those $50k “audiophile” power cords. All for a little AIO computer + batteries.

A little late on the news, but it looks like Microsoft actually bought Zenimax for a cool 7 BILLION dollars yesterday, so that means they also own anything that was once owned by Zenimax including Bethesda, id Software among other developers.

Maybe future Fallout and Elder Scrolls games will have a better engine in the future? That would be nice.

My big problem with the Big Two (MS and Sony) buying out devs like this is that there will be even less availability for games, especially as these obnoxious timed exclusives just keep growing in popularity with the developers. I have to wait out a year long delay for FF7R for PC, and same for FF16 when it comes out. The more things like this happen the worse the industry becomes for the players.

Gaaaaah. I’m trying to finish Nighthold. I’ve killed everything. I still can’t get to Elisande. What am I missing?!

ETA: Nope, I missed one.
