[CS LOUNGE] Shadowstepping into the Shadowlands

I can understand that. $30 for a movie is quite a bit.

Iā€™m reticent bc I know that if it doesnā€™t succeed Hollywood would blame it and then Asian representation will be held back but at the same time, donā€™t want to invest 30 bucks and not keep the film.

$30 is too much for a rental IMO

Hello TW.

Letā€™s just say Iā€™ve had my fair share of 2020. We can move on at any point.

Hope you are well.

I guess it depends on how many people are watching. Weā€™d easily spend $30 taking the whole family to the movies. More, likely, unless we have vouchers.

Problem is they will make mulan free by the end of the year so 30$ isnt worth it.

Cost depends on your interest + situation. A night out at the movies for a family is going to be at least $30, easily. So, it may be cheaper for a family to spend $30 and stay at home for it.

For me, itā€™s probably not a value but I might still do it just because I was interested in the movie.

Can always wait until Marchish to watch it for free like I will Mulan in December.

$30 more for something Iā€™m already paying for doesnā€™t sit right with me, so Iā€™m happy to wait.

And I see that nugget has already been reached.

If they were willing to send the concessions to accommodate the probable cost for three people, it might be justifiable. As it is, $30 could easily become $45-50 when you have to buy concessions from the grocery.

Like i said rumored but yes i would be waiting till its free.

dangitā€¦my computer chair of 8 years finally was claimed by Bwonsambi. Sad thing broke and tilted sideways.

lol just noticed that ran across a guild with the clasic my cats on fire or something like that.

I guess it depends on how many people are watching. Weā€™d easily spend $30 taking the whole family to the movies. More, likely, unless we have vouchers. I mean, for Dauth and I to see the new Bill & Ted this week, it would have cost $36AUD without me using my points to get a $1 ticket. So, for us, if it was something we were interested in (ie, Black Widow), the $34.99AUD is well worth it.

I have no idea why it posted my original comment too, but meh.

Today is day one of my Great Adventure. Since I completely missed Summer, I decided (yesterday) to go on a trek. Packed the car, checked the weather, and hit the road. Destination: Pacific Coast of Oregon. No fires to worry about where Iā€™m headed, or on the way (BIG plus!). Temps should cool down by the time I get to the coast.

Just one tiny problem. The weather forecast called for a couple inches of snow around Cheyenne, Wyoming, where I planned to stop for my first night on the road, so no pitching a tent and being cheap. Now that Iā€™m here, the forecast calls for five to eight inches here, and up to a foot, and possibly more, in my way. Perhaps I shall take an extra day in Cheyenne. At least I have a new book, and my laptop to keep me occupied.

Timeless isle cave made things alot easier woot.

ooooo itā€™s been crazy at work

For the first time since ancient times our city has moved to using wheelie Bins for the rubbish and recycling. This included a food bin, collected weekly.

Our new contractor has been seriously struggling with the demand - there was 25 tonnes of food waste put out in the first 2 days. Thereā€™s been an endless stream of requests coming in via phone , web and email channels. Iā€™m put through so many service requests that Iā€™m starting to see the same people coming back through again (I cheerfully sending them back their original job number as itā€™s still considered ā€œopenā€ within a certain time frame)

A bonus is Iā€™m discovering ways of putting service requests in quicker which knowing me will probably lead to me being lazier in doing my paperwork (thatā€™s how my silly brain works)

In other news I hear Duneā€™s getting a modern remake. How yā€™all feel about that ?

question guys - if one were to do a Bill & Ted marathon as preparation for watching the new movie would that also involve ransacking online comic archive sites so you can also read their comic runs ?

More Bugalorian!
