Stay that way
I was working in a job running the campus email system some years ago when I got a call from the chairman of the statistics department.
Â
âWeâre having a problem sending email out of the department.â
Â
     âWhatâs the problem?â I asked.
Â
âWe canât send mail more than 500 miles,â the chairman explained.

Easily the best thing Iâve read today. Warning: very computery.
OkayâŚanyone else think that a 20L (5.3gallon) bucket of sanitizer for $99CAD ($76US) is a good deal/smart purchase? I might be over-compensating for my kidsâ return to schoolâŚor am I?
Well⌠my hands were still healing from a rash I had last year (because I wash my hands too much) when the pandemic started.
Iâve presently got 11 rough spots on my hands that continually flare up.
So⌠um⌠be careful?
I swear ive absorbed more alchol from sanitizer then from drinking and a goblin ruffle is just wierd but who am i to judge.
Iâve been pretty happy with TekSavvy. Though, the DSLReports forum was where I found the Telus credentials needed to log into my modem and reflash it with a factory image, back when you couldnât bridge their boxes.
Iâve been with Teksavvy for many years now and love them. In ON they run mostly on Rogers cable, but I love that they fight for lower costs and when they win, they actually pass those costs on to their customers.
Iâve literally had my monthly bill reduced twice since being with them. But the big players then go back to court to try and raise prices back up
Hmm a friend that uses comcast has hers down for 7hrs wonder if theres more peopel being affected.
If itâs at least 62% ethyl alcohol or isopropanol, thatâs a steal currently. Just try a sample first. Quite a few of them leave a very greasy residue behind on the hands, making holding things difficult.
At least in Canada the MVNOs have some clout. Here our government just lets the monopolies linger and as a result we pay the highest prices in the world for the worst speeds.
Farm maps wouldnât be so bloody annoying if it werenât for the hoe/watering can charge-up for every freaking use. On my PS4 it takes two full days just to plant and water because of that. Thatâs why I gave ConcernedApe the suggestion of using the two unused shoulder buttons to select an AoE size and âlockâ it in so you could just use the tools until you needed refils or whatever. That and making sprinklers ONLY removable with the pickaxe. Tired of the hoe knocking them out every season.
Most of my space is taken up by grass for the barn and coop animals.
I have a full 116 Starfruit going in the greenhouse that cycles to wine.
The rest of the farm has one of each cabin. Three each of the fruit trees, and two Junimo huts handling a handful of Iridium Sprinklers running Ancient Fruit.
All other little bits of free space is loose grass to stock my five silos at the end of fall.
I have structures dedicated to each animal, upgraded and filled to capacity. Twelve each: cows, goats, sheep, pigs, chicken (random colors but no void chicken), duck, rabbits and dinosaur.
Oh and a slime hutch.
Since people asked: I start next week.
Our mascots are also pretty cute. Blurple.
We spent the afternoon at the new zoo. Havenât been for months due to the pandemic. It was so much fun, the lions were out, the baboons have babies (which are SO ugly-cute itâs not funny).
Only real disappointment was the Indigenous Australia section was packed away. They usually have Aboriginal keepers showing various Aboriginal hunting tools, blankets, that sort of thing. Bug loves it, so he was a wee bit upset, but being chased by an emu cheered him up.
I donât know what I did, but my knee is killing me.
Hurt all day yesterday and is so sore I had issues sleeping. Now I get to try doi g weekend doubles around this.
being chased by an emu is the most Australian thing Iâve ever heard sis
Theyâre just SO cute! And this one was probably only a teenager.
Fixed that for you. And didnât your people lose a war to them? You should already be wary of them.
Though Cassowaries are even scarier.
Pfft. Emus are ADORABLE! Cassowaries, though⌠theyâre scary. Real life dinosaurs. Or is that modern day dinosaurs?
And⌠er⌠yes. We did. We donât like talking about it.
I say real life. Iâve already had bad luck with emuâs. Iâm 99% positive that a cassowary would attack me on sight.
Iâd have to work to get her up to Level 3 on the forums. Plus Iâm not sure she has bunny ears.
It looks like I do have bunny ears on her. Iâm not sure I want to post on her though. She looks like she has more of an attitude than my Gnome does.
