[CS Lounge] Put more characters, in the thing more characters goes in

Furbies terrify me.

Yeah, they did take a trip into the Uncanny Valley.

I was once asked…

If you can carry with you one thing when trapped in a desert, what would it be? I responded, a car door. If I get too hot, I can roll down the window.

I just told a version of the same joke on GD…

I think they have been gnashing teeth and complaining for so long, humor escapes them.

well its a lot better than what Mimiron usually does…

but does the hunter have chicken? or would Hati and Skoll have it?

Sent somebody home sick yesterday. They are now out until a negative covid test comes back. Soooo covering the shift today.

Was gonna be here as a nurse aide anyway in the afternoon, but kitchen comes first. So I grt off at 1 instead of 11. I will take it.

We interrupt your normal CS Lounge chat for a special message to Mastadon. (I am not going to try and find that special character. Sorry, buddy). Since he’s no longer in the TL3 Lounge, I need to let him know the latest news.

The Little Raid Team That Could™ is now 10/12 Heroic. We’ve taken down 5 new bosses the past 2 weeks. AOTC is now actually in sight.

We’ve never gotten AOTC before.

Oh, man, my mother’s third husband / our stepfather introduced us to Mad magazine in the 70s. Loved that and Games magazine. Modern magazines just don’t have the same zing to them.

Good luck!

Oh, and I can’t really talk about weather. Mine is just too nice compared to everyone else. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

It’s 80 with decent humidity. Not too bad.

We have had the ceiling fans running non stop for over a month. I wonder how much time it takes for them to get tired and give up?

Back from my “adventure.” I went camping for the weekend in the Ozarks. And … just WOW. Such an amazing place. Beautiful overlooks, a nice little stream running over some falls right at my campsite, and almost perfect weather: cool at night, decent during the day. Just some rain Friday and yesterday. Now to unpack all the still damp stuff and get it all cleaned up and put away.

That place is going on the “have to go back there” list.

Mountains? Shudders with her fear of heights. Sounds nice though. Glad you had a good time even with the mountains. :scream:

Had a flashback to my past. Back in the 80s when I was a young teenager, some of my friends was musicians. One thing they used to tell me was Ernie Ball strings was the go to for guitar and bass strings. Flash forward to today, my A-Frame guitar stand came in along with a package of Ernie Ball Bass strings. It was a good memory

Rented the Sonic the Hedgehog movie today. Sat down and watched it with my boys. We all had a really good time, and enjoyed the movie.

Has anyone ordered from Newegg and know how long it takes for a charge to show up when paying via PayPal?

Hubby ordered something Thursday last week our time, the payment came out yesterday (Monday our time), but the package also shipped the same day.

From my experience, Newegg doesn’t actually charge til the item ships.

While technically they’re mountains, they’re ancient (relatively speaking), so they’re pretty worn. There were a couple parking areas where you could look out over the valley (WAAAAAY) below, so that might be a bit of a concern for certain people, but most of it was rolling hills-like.

But yeah, it was great. And the dog was a trooper. She knows just what trail to follow, pretty much all the time. And she did a great job pulling me up the inclines (and of course, pulling me down the same hills on the way back).
