[CS LOUNGE] Pumpkin Spice, Apple Cider, and Everything Nice

You know, I actually had originally typed it as mod-ly, just because that’s how I usually would rock it. But I chose to do it as I had. To be fair though, I did have to glance back and double check myself that I didn’t type moldy.

Also, veering off topic. My heart, man. We lost so many greats this year.

I came across a post earlier that surprised me that they were able to type out the vulgar words they did. Would have expected the filters to have caught them.

Luckily the mods got to it. Oddly, they didn’t touch the post directly below that quoted said vulgar words.

Funny there was a post the other day of a player getting a 1day suspension for just that.

Hope you all having a great night! Been busy in-game tonight trying to get my usual weekly stuff done. Gonna be a busy week for me rest of the week cause of Christmas and such.

Looking forward to tomorrow however. Found a great deal on a new phone plan with my current provider. Getting my new iPhone 15 tomorrow to replace my current iPhone 11.

It’s not even January and already we’re getting a good storm. Maybe it will be a wet Christmas.

I am a huge fan of water. We had a drought this fall so all the water we can get is important. Of course, the big East Coast storm still has some roads near me flooded, but overall I am pleased with the water!

Stay safe out there.

Two Siberian huskies + a kick sled + me = a crap load of fun. Take that answer and subtract the snow and you get 2 bored Siberian huskies and me playing wow. Common Alberta get some freakin snow already!!!

ah!
Much better than the wind going the opposite direction. Especially in the valley. SB has an air pocket which messes with westbound air flows. Cools it off by almost 10 F.

EEEEEEE I got it!
Finally!!!111!!

I hate Walmart. So much.

Walk in with a plan. A pretty straightforward plan. Beeline right for that section. Don’t have what I’m looking for, no big deal. Grab a couple other things in that section then beeline right for a second and third section for a few more items.

Still leave with mostly everything you were after plus a couple expected addons (11 items total), not a bad “quick” trip… but damn candles are expensive, now.

… only to leave roughly one hour later and $120 lighter.

I hate Walmart. :sob:

Wally World is one of my parents’ few options to shop for necessities.

I should add a disclaimer that it’s probably one of my favorite places to go, really. I hate traveling to and spending the money, but greatly enjoy the shopping bit.

My hatred gripe is that it’s just so easy to do exactly that and ultimately leave with far, far more than you think you’ll leave with if you aren’t keeping yourself in check. :sob:

Couple that with inflation and a $400+ shopping trip will ninja you without hesitation.

It’s not entirly your fault. Stores are built to maximize that. Wonder why you don’t see clocks on the walls in a lot of places. Even outdoor malls get you turned around.

I don’t shop at Walmart very often, But when I do I’m in and out in a manner of minutes. Everytime I go however they keep asking me if I want a Walmart MasterCard. And they ask me more than once every time.

They will ask me when they start ringing up my order and again when I choose my payment method. I would go thru the self-checkout, But I’m not a fan of those. Even at work, I’ll just pay for my goods at Customer Service if the front desk is not too busy.

Dont go to costco then lol 500$ later.

The other day I needed help getting a 40 lb. box of kitty litter off the top shelf at our local neighborhood Walmart (we call it small mart - as it is the version that is mostly grocery, few household items, and a pharmacy).

I asked an associate watching over the self-checkouts if they could just call for someone to help me. They told me to go to Customer Service. Unfortunately that day Customer Service was swamped – took at least 20 minutes or so before it was my turn. I asked them to call an associate to help me please, they said sure. Well, I went back to where I needed help and stood around for about another 10 minutes or so. I ended up having to call the store and asking again for them to send someone. The lady who answered the phone was the same one I had just asked for help. She was perturbed that nobody had assisted me. She went and personally found someone and escorted them to me.

I really think they need more people to assist customers, That and at least call for help instead of just telling me to go ask someone else.
