There’s nothing quite the same as running short-handed. It feels like the day will never end. But when you get through the rush and look back at it… nah, nevermind. It still stinks.

I lost my last coworker around Halloween. Been working 68 hour weeks since. With a pay raise.
The job isn’t back breaking or stressful most days. There’s just that chance that I could jump in and save someone’s life (which I did about a year ago), get shot at or beaten.
Being in a uniform makes you a target.

Well, I found out why I have been so squirrelly for the past few weeks. Turns out I ran out of one medication I needed and didn’t realize it. That’s been fixed and should be back on track in a few days.

Survived the freeze (2ish days of freezing rain). Apparently the town I’m in raided the grocery store like it was the end of the world. People be silly.
