I’m also apparently terrible at understanding my friends. >_>
Hankering for a chicken sandwich from Popeye’s?
You make me wish there was a Popeye’s around here. Maybe I’m blind, though. Anything that suddenly whacks your hunger button?
My store has developed a reputation as not needing a lot of attention from above. We get stuff done. Improvise, adapt and overcome. So when we do legitimately need help, hone office is slow to provide it. Which is why we’re in the state we’re currently in. Short-staffed? The manager and I cover anything that needs covered. Something breaks, I have experience doing mechanical, plumbing and electrical.
I’ve seen the first 3-4 episodes. I’ve loved it so far, I haven’t found it boring at all, but I guess it depends on what you are looking for.
I’ve liked the little bit we’ve learned so far about Tirnanoc and hope we get to see and learn more about it and the various Fae species. While it isn’t part of a book or anything, it seems to have it’s roots in a lot of Irish mythology, which I have always been a fan of. I used to read a lot of old Irish fables.
Haven’t had a chance to catch it yet, but I plan to. When I first saw the preview I was like, wait they made a TV show out of the comic series Saga?
It looks really good to me. I saw a preview when I was checking Prime Video to see if a certain Disney film was on it.
Canada was the leftovers.
great, now i’m picturing Greymane vs Lor’themar in a “Glitterbottle on a Pole” match. .-.
This checks out. Always save the best for last
and speaking of Canada, we’re expected to get Dorian late tomorrow, if not early Sunday…and it’s suppose to be a category 2 as well. .-.
Yes. It should be interesting. The projection on NOAA shows the eye heading over us.
3 days off in a row! After a 12 hour day Monday, 8 Tuesday, 10+ Wednesday, and yesterday they called me in and I got to learn a new thing that was actually a nice change from my usual, but it’s still work. So 3 days off is nice even if I have to make a long drive tomorrow for a family event. I was going to go to the state fair today but decided I’m too tired. I can always go Sunday. Taking more vacation in a couple of weeks but my mom is having back surgery so I might be helping her rather than just chilling, but that’s still better than work.
Hope everyone stays safe.
I just realised, I haven’t logged in to retail since classic was released. So much for me not expecting to enjoy it.
well we did burn down part of the white house in the war of 1812.
I’ll be honest, I kind of lost interest, but maybe that’s because I was leveling a warrior. Maybe I should give a hunter a try. Though that’ll make it harder for me to get groups.
i’m kinda the same way. i did log into retail for a bit, but…considering i don’t have BfA yet (and considering i haven’t really done much in Legion, though that was mostly due to my PC having problems with WoW at the time…still kinda do here and there. .-.) i haven’t done a whole lot lately.
it’s something i wouldn’t mind doing…i know it’s on sale atm, but…funds are a bit testy right now. rl is being a bit of an aggro hog, though i’m enjoying Classic more than i had originally thought i would.
it’s definitely forcing me to think things through carefully…i’ve grouped up with a number of players to complete quests, so that’s always a plus. i’m currently working on trying to save up the money to buy a portal rune, so a mage can make me a port to Darnassus…i’ll then take the boat to Auberdine, transfer to a boat to Menethil Harbor and unlock the FP…that (hopefully) will connect me with the FP’s for Loch Modan, Ironforge and Stormwind…thus enabling me to connect with Kalimdor a bit more easily.
Where’s the fun in that??? Make the infamous Wetlands, spiders, crocs death run. I’ve done it on 2 character so far in classic, Gnome mage and NE Hunter going the other way. In beta I did it on 6 characters
