Went with the specual lady friend to gi and see Smile. We really enjoyed it. She loves horror. I am more meh, but tume with her is time with her. I didnt jump any more than she did. And that made me proud haha.
If you are into that kind of thing, i recommend it.

I went out of the house! I did the grocery shopping because I have to host my dad for 3 days within the next week. (Thurs, Fri, and then Mon).
I got the last two trays of the .98/lb chicken leg quarters on sale. Go me! Time for roasted BBQ rubbed chicken and potatoes with maybe a fresh salad or steamed broccoli. It will be one of the last days in the 70s this year so that sounds good to me.
I also still have that amazing batch of Chili I just made for lunches. Monday will be a fall corned beef with carrots, taters, onions, etc.
Might even get the pumpkin muffins made. I want to try a brown sugar/butter/oat topping on them if that is a thing.
I also took another poster’s advice and grabbed sweet potatoes on sale to cook and freeze.

ahh, that explains the rain we’re suppose to get today then. yeah, we didn’t get a whole lot from Fiona…just really windy mostly. hopefully it didn’t do too much damage, and hoping Ian doesn’t either.
I’m up near the Northumberland Straight. We had it all. Rain. Wind. Downed trees and power lines. Our house also lost internet. They needed to replace the fiber-op line from the pole to our house and the box that converts the fiber-op to co-ax. Some of my relatives finally got power back last night.
Took a little road trip over the weekend.

Not sure how I feel about the teratalizing or how it’s represented in the game, but eh. Every game has its gimmick.
I’m more wondering how folks will feel about it in tournaments.
I feel like it’s going to throw everything on its head. Gigantamax was weird but at least there was no third typing. Mega evo changed typings but at least it was in a way that was still choreographed in the designs and interacted normally. This… this will take some adaptation, I feel, and I’m not even really in the competitive scene.
