Do you hear it? I do. Is the sound of the roaring crowd at Rogers place in Edmonton. Is time for Oilers hockey. It’s about time. Been a long 3 months with out hockey.
That is what I did. Mine was “sit on it” length and that was just WAY too long. Cutting a foot off myself felt really nice. I have trimmed it a few times before but that was a major cut. I figured, if I screwed up badly enough it is still long enough to get a pro to fix it.
Turned out super cute though! Internet videos are useful for learning to do a super simple cut. It is so light and fluffy now! Even though mid back still.
Also, I curse whatever evil spirits smacked me with the curly hair wand at menopause. I need to learn to style it. Instead I usually just put it up.
I would never shave it off, but I totally get the temptation.
I am back!!!
Power went out before 9pm on Friday the 23rd and came back on Wednesday the 28th around 6pm. We were so excited until we noticed the internet wasn’t back. We got a service call booked for today. Thankfully it was between the pole and us so the tech could fix it.
There was a lot of damage in our area. Leaves everywhere like someone had shredded them for salad and then tossed it into the wind. A tree came down behind our house but it just landed on the ground. A bit of water damage from a roofing shingle that lifted. I think most houses on our street had some damage. There were a lot of trees down everywhere. Some streets were closed off for days because of downed trees.
A very large tree was resting on the roof of our neighbour’s house. Some cosmetic damage inside and out but the structure is fine. They needed to build bracing for the trunk so it didn’t do more damage before they removed it. They were finally able to get a crane in today to try and get the rest of the tree off.
The house across the street had part of a tree come down on the front porch. Damaged the roof and the cast iron stair rails.
Our insurance agent had four acres of trees flattened by the hurricane.
The days without power were like camping inside our house. I haven’t gone camping since the '80s.
Just popping my head in again to say hi.

Welcome back Ruffle, glad you stayed safe during the mess that happened.
Hey! Sorry if this isn’t the place to ask, has anyone heard anything about a second round of Community Council applications? I’ve looked online but haven’t seen anything.
Night folks, it’s been a day
Havent heard anything it would be posted if there was.
I was gona shave my head a few years ago due to my littlest niece have childhood lukemia never did get around to it. On the bright side it was one of the better one for kids to have and easily treatable.
Even better she gets to ring the bell this week or next week.
/grumbles quietly about discretion being the better part of valor before wandering off, still muttering to himself.
It should be Dr. McCoy instead of Riker.
The heck is he doing holding that horn upside down?
Draining the spit valve?
Blasted hunters and their Barrage. Wiped our dungeon group twice this evening. But on the plus side, he got better by the end.
I always check what it might hit before I use it. Accidentally killed my character a few times mass-agroing rares.
One time the hunter in our group kinda strafed the whole “brawl” area of Freehold. We wiped, but managed to clear it at the end.
debateble since hes sitting on trombones.
