[CS Lounge]: Maps and naps

W00t! Finally got the Fabious mount. It is so adorable!

Got a bee in my bonnet this morning and made actual breakfast for me & hubby. I made an egg white omelette with ham, bell peppers, tomatoes, & cheese. Served it with toast and fresh fruit (plums & kiwi). T’was delish.

Go for a burr grinder. We have one from Cuisinart, they are just under 40.00 and it will let you go from very very fine to very very course. We love it. Here is the link, you will have to copy paste it.

Out fulfilling adult like responsibilities. Getting the kids medicine.

Think this calls for Whataburger for lunch

That sounds delicious! Now I’m hungry for an omelette. No veggies until I go shopping, but I suppose I could go basic cheese omelette.

Ooof, I hadn’t ordered pizza last night, I’d be getting Whataburger tonight, dangit.

I looked at that same one but from Amazon Canada and it’s almost twice the price :frowning: The worst part is that it’s not even just the currency exchange:

$36.28US → $48.03CAD

That said, Amazon.ca has it on sale for $59.99cad (reg. $64.99).

Import tariffs?

Thank to our Cheeto in Chief?

Looks like it ships from within the province here, but depending on where it was manufactured, it could still be import fees/tariffs.

Meh, nothing’s ever cheap up here.

what if there are no “In and Out” where you live? Where I live it’s Whataburger or the other 2 major chains which I can’t stand.

Then you must travel to the nearest In and Out

I have never seen either one of those places.:hamburger:

I miss Whataburger. (Never tried In and Out.)

I was raised with In-N-Out. I’ve always liked their burgers. They always tasted fresh, not greasy and the bun was lightly toasted, which I really like.

I tried Whataburger when I was out in Austin and it was okay. I don’t know if I could compare the two, it didn’t seem unique. They also have a lot on their menus so perhaps I didn’t get the right thing. Maybe next time I’m out there, Kalv will take me for a proper Whataburger experience.

To be fair, if you’re visiting then we’re going bigger than burgers. There is so much good food here
